The best comic-based movies are the ones where you don't really have to know the characters or storyline to follow along. The characters were interesting, the story was easy to follow, and the action was non-stop. If you're into "shoot 'em up" movies, this one is worth a look-see.

Overall I really enjoyed The Losers, although I must admit it wasn't the greatest movie around. If you've seen the trailers for it, that is exactly what this flick is, all action, very little character development, and the dialog was pretty iffy at times. Definately not what you would call a date night movie, I went with my son!

Although I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, I kept thinking I was reliving the old days of Miami Vice and the muchlater version and played out Miami CSI. The actors that played the characters did a great job, but the plot needs some serious work. You already know either there will be a sequel or a tv drama made to order.
I would only recommend it for the shear entertainment, it was funny which was a surprise.

Disappointing. Lots of flashy action, mostly gunplay, explosions, some martial arts. High-budget exploding cars, trucks, and planes kinda shoot-em up. But comprehensible plot? Not so much. No real chemistry among actors, Zoe's attractive & actually gets to play a Latina; Idris is impressive & eye candy for the ladies, but it all seemed forced. No depth of feeling anywhere, no reason for the story. Shallow. In the end, a very forgettable experience. In fact, I've already forgotten why I went to this movie!

Overall this is a pretty terrible movie. The editing often takes place at an unbelievably monotonous clip, cut from view to view every 1.5 or 3 seconds (seriously, once you notice that, the movie is hard to watch). The plot is just that of the A-Team, although the bad guy, "Max", is ludicrously mustache-twirling, killing literally everyone who works for him or does business with him (makes you wonder why anyone would work for him or do business with him). The action is uninspired, and the directing is utterly derivative. I think I may have seen every prominent shot in other prominent movies (e.g., Reservoir Dogs and Wanted). That said, there are a few funny lines, especially from Jason Patrick and Chris Evans, and Idris Alba has a lot of star-power. But overall, don't waste your time or money.
