I went to see this movie on New Years Eve and it will be one the more memorable ones for sure because when our group walked out of the movie theater eveyone was smiling. Nice to watch a movie for a change without violence, cursing and destruction. Just a great movie. Love love loved Sandra Bullock!!

Thought-provoking and inspiring, well written and superbly acted... all the while, entertaining!
I can't think of an age group that wouldn't benefit from viewing this movie...including tweens and teens and grandparents. There are life-lessons to be garnered here for all of us...from the 'rednecked bully' to the 'complacent Christian' and everyone in between!!
From someone who is TOTALLY down on Hollywood (me)...cudos for bringing this story to the big screen with a cast of actors who more than do justice to an incredibly moving real-life drama!

By now everyone knows this movie is based on a real-life story, and it's a good one. Sandra Bullock brings to life the high-voltage mom who takes in a homeless kid -- and that kid brings all the baggage + a huge heart. It's a story about the difference the human spirit can make in a person's life; and the potential in each of us. Newcomer Quinton Arron is brilliant, and Bullock deserves a nod for her spicy portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy. Don't miss this story!

This is a superb story of a family's real life and I truly enjoyed the way the story was told. This is far greater than some "B" movie for cable viewing.
Here is living proof that you can make a tremendous movie without the horrific
foul language most movies contain.
It is so heartwarming to see what real unconditional love can accomplish; at the same time issuing a challenge to the viewer to examine our own life.

A sad story, it is a little hard to believe most of it is true. When the movie was over, EVERYONE stayed to watch the credits. When the movie itself has that kind of effect on the crowd, it would not do justice to give it less than five stars.

Sandra Bullock did it again. She is incredible in this film. The story line was very good, and it keeps you in your seat to watch how it will play out. The connection between all the actors was outstanding. AND little "SJ" was a hoot! I would go see this movie AGAIN.

this is a movie about a family who adopts a young man based on a true story. It's deep, complicated and forceful. The young man is black, homeless and without any resources and little education. This family --lead by the mom-- takes him in and gives him hope, direction and support to achieve things that were beyond his dreams.

This was a lovely movie, inspirational and entertaining. All of the actors played their roles wonderfully and helped bring the whole movie together. The fact that it is based on a true story takes it to another level (make sure you stay for the credits to see the pictures of the real-life characters). The Blind Side makes viewers take note of how many things we take for granted, and inspires us to count our blessings and remember to "pay it forward".
