I thought the movie was great! It was very suspenseful.You related to the characters and it made you wonder if this could really happen.

Wow! Just saw Super 8 and loved it! It is Close Encounters meets Lost meets E.T.! Anyone living in that era will appreciate the familiar feel of 1979, when the movie was set, as well as those great Speilberg films.

I got teary eyed more than once. I thought the movie was inspiring and very well done. The scenes on the horse track were suspenseful even though you knew what was gong to happen. I have a lot of respect for Ms. Chenery -- she was a tough broad yet quite a lady. That was something to pull off in 1969

Very entertaining with great special effects. A bit hokey at times but that was part of the fun.
