A wonderful, feel good movie!

What a fantastic movie! One of the best that I have seen. Reminds us that there are still good, decent people in the world willing to reach out and help those less fortunate. Michael Oher accepted the help he was blessed with and, with focus and determination, turned his life into something that he could be proud of. Go see this movie!

Gran Torino-Excellent Movie

A friend and I went to an 11:30am matinee and there were alot of people in the theater...and now I know why. Gran Torino is a must see movie. I haven't seen many Clint Eastwood movies, but I knew that I had to see this one. Take a crotchety, stubborn, tough as nails ex-Korean war vet who still carries around extra baggage from that experience who lives in an all asian neighborhood where gang violence puts a pall on the asian culture and innate goodness and what do you get? A damn good movie that will make you laugh, cry, and lose your breath. Go see it!
