This was great family movie. Range of all emotions. The parent/child relationship has been captured so wonderfully. You'll laugh cry and can so relate to the uniquess of the innocence childhood path. AMazed to sit through an Eddie Murphy movie that was clean..lol. A distinct reminder that we all need to realize how important/special family time is to us.

This was a really sweet family movie. The kids (7&9 yrs.) thought it was funny, and Mom did as well. It had a fairly predictable ending, but was still enjoyable. Definately a great way to spend time with the family!

Used many currently common themes in America - Divorcing parents, children left in the middle to find their way, income vs family. Nice piece for Eddie Murphy and the young lady playing his daughter was awesome. When the plot got to where it was going it shined but took way too long in dialog to get there....a bit much for my 9 year old daughter to sit thru without telling me she was bored.and she is easily pleased. I liked it and it is fine for an adult to sit thru but again slow in developing...(too much Wall Street) never the less a good flik and a wonderful ending.

Eddie Murphy, as always, is adept at the exasperated Dad role, but his daughter comes close to stealing the movie. She is very expressive and has a surprisingly large range for a child actor. The plot is a bit of an overreach but the stars make it fun to watch. I took my seven-year-old son and I was worried that the stock market plot would bore him but he enjoyed it and laughed several times. It won't be a classic but it is a fun and safe choice for the family.

There are so many hysterically funny scenes in "Imagine That", you might miss some of the messages. The writers wanted to do a movie on the difficulty of fathers bonding with daughters. The lack of special effects actually help us identify with this dad's dilemma. In the end, it's not about "the goobah" or his daughter's "usefulness"; It's about very tough priority choices, trusting your own intuition, and being who your child needs you to be.
