The fast pace and great music made this movie totally enjoyable. Group singing saved the "voices" of the stars without having to resort to lip-syncing (how old is that!). I would have loved to see the four original Abba members say a few words at the end after the song "Thank You For The Music".

This is one of the best movies EVER!!!! It has a little bit of everything in it, music, dancing, comedy, romance, drama, passion, excitement, you name it. I am actually going again with my daughters because I think they can walk away from it with excitement, but also with a little insight that sometimes what we want doesn't happen when we want it, but in the end if its right it will work out anyway. I LOVED IT!!!!!!!

I've seen the stage show which I found much better. The movie was fun, however, some the characters were a little miss-cast. Loved M Streep as the mom, but C Baranski was a little flat and P Brosnan, although he made a commendable attempt, is not a singer. All in all , a fun! fun! film.

i did not like this movie's "plot" it started off very slow and then got very fast and alot of things started happening. i feel ilke the movie didnt end. they tried to build up a problem but the problem really never got solved. i also think that during the musical numbers extras just popped up randomly and it sort of creeped me out. the only thing positive i can say about this movie is that it was fun. the songs got stuck and your head and you wanted to just get up and dance. it was totally i girl movie. most guys would not like this movie. i would recomend it if you want to see a movie that you dont need to follow at all or you just want to hear music but you dont feel ike turing on your ipod.

We saw this on broadway and were afraid we wouldn't appreciate the movie version having really enjoyed the play. But the movie was much better - better scenery - bigger musical numbers - great actors. I can't stop the music in my head - and it's a really good thing !

This movie is full of laughs and music . Im not too big on musical movies but i had to come see this one. There were points in the movie where i wanted to get up and start dancing and where i would acually start singing the songs without realizing it. as if i was in the car or something listening to the radio. the whole movie is basaically singing a couple parts arent . I wouldnt recommend this movie to someone who doesnt like musical movies. I thought it was a fun movie to see maybe a little to much singing toward the end but i still enjoyed it very much.

It was a really fun movie. I have to admit, Pierce Brosnan's was rather bad. However, that being said, the movie was a lot of fun and the music was great! This was a mother and daughter film- which neither my daughter or I knew beforehand. This was fun! A good mix of slapstick, schmaltz and modern humor. The ensemble cast was perfect and the music when set to a plot, transformed. Anyone could enjoy this film but it's especially resonant as a tale of two generations.

I've always had a crush on Pierce Brosnan, and an actress myself, I wanted to be like Meryl Streep, so I had to see them together. My man can't sing, but that didn't matter. He can act, and he carried the tune (albeit somewhat strained). He made me believe him. Streep can sing (as could the rest of the cast), and that split jump on the bed was impressive, leading up to my favorite scene in the movie. My only real problem was suspending my belief that Streep could have had a twenty year old daughter unless she'd been in her mid forties when she did so, and that's not how the movie (or play) goes. It was a great cast, but the three women, at least, would have been more believable in their parts had they been a lot younger.

I very rarely go to a movie twice. I never go three times. I am not a fan of musicals with the exception of "Moulin Rouge". I was not an Abba fan I have seen "Mammia Mia" three times. In these miserable times in which we find ouselves it lifts the spirit. It causes happiness. Streep is great. Her rendition of "The Winner Takes it All" brings her extraordinary acting ability to song, It is memorable I will probably go and see it in a theater again.

Mamma Mia is at the edge of outch, an over the top fun movie. One sits there grinning all the time and when Pierce Brosnan starts singing it's just to die for bizarre. I never really liked Abba but how their music is elevated into images is genius and makes you listen in a different way. Our diverse group consisted of a 13 year old girl, a male teen of 17, a 50 year old journalist and writer and myself, an eco-conscious LA event planner - and everybody was thrilled.

I was looking forward to this movie, particularly because of the popular ABBA music. I was not disappointed at all! The movie was upbeat, funny, lightly romantic and a joy to watch. It pulled me into its atmosphere. My mom enjoyed singing along and humming to the tunes.

Mamma Mia! is wonderful. I'm not a big fan of musicals, but this movie captivated me from start to finish. Amanda Seyfried is absolutely wonderful as Sophie Sheridan, the young lady who has her whole life in front of her with her impending wedding, but wants what every little girl dreams of...having her father walk her down the aisle. Problem is, WHO is her father? Meryl Streep plays the role of Donna so beautifully, that I can't think of anyone else who would have fit the role. She relives her youth when she sees the three men who are potentially Sophie's father. You'll never believe the ending! The musical score provided by ABBA is fabulous. You'll want to get up and dance in the aisles!

Laughed out loud! A great movie with definitely feminine humor. I wouldn't take my teenager, but I'm trying to get my Mom to go!

I went with four of my friends! Never laughed so much in my life!! The whole theatre was laughing, clapping, singing! It was great. There was a standing ovation at the end from all in the theatre.
We are taking our husbands back this week. Can't wait to see it again. Can't wait to buy the movie. And, I have already ordered the sound track!!!

This movies was so joyful to watch. It reminds me of when my best friend and I get together. It was a lot of fun and very up lifting to watch. It just put you in a good mood after watching it.
