I was really amazed at how well this movie was done. The first Hulk movie I hated. I actually fell asleep in the threatre. I thought the same was going to happen again. This little unassuming man, but it turned out to be more that I expected.

This is a great movie, though I am one of the few who actually loved Ang Lee's version. This film is more for the masses and much easier to understand. Simple and effective, very effective. As an action film fan I was very entertained, at points, the humor was kind of corny but the action sequences, Emil Blonsky's character and the crazy scientist make up for the film's shortcomings. I loved Tim Roth being the villain so much, I would love to see him return to the role. Ed Norton did well, I was pleasantly surprised with this film which is not at all to be compared to the Ang Lee film, it's totally different.

The Movie is well made throughout with a story and action. All the characters are nicely conceived and captivating. Brazil was a curious setting to start, but it became great backdrop for the action, physical and smart. The devotion to the cure for turning into the Green thing is a grabber and puts an everyman quality to Bruce Banner/Hulk. Though Ed Norton is no Tobey Maguire (Spider-man) or Ben Affleck (Daredevil) for that matter, solid but not distinguishing. Special moments occur when we get to see the man inside the giant from the relationship with Elizabeth Ross. Would've liked to see the Ross character in a classroom or lab setting more, she's more believable as a girlfriend than fellow scientist. Keep your eye on William Hurt, he almost steals the movie and gives importance to the goings-on. The introduction of Tim Roth's character is contrived, but is redeemed by becoming the villain both as human and monster Abominable. Fantastic sound and fighting around city buildings and streets, even the extras blend in well with the CGI with different camera angles. Enjoy the cinema experience!!! B+

Aside from some editing questions I have, the movie was smooth and balanced. More faithful to the TV show and comic than Ang Lee's heady version. I wish it would've done better at the box office because I'd like to see a sequel.

I took my son to see this movie for his birthday, he is a big fan of The Hulk. We both loved it! It was better than the first Hulk movie that came out in '03. I really liked this Incredible Hulk movie. I was surprised at the last movie because it had him fighting very non-descript villians. This latest group of super hero movies have solved an age old problem with directors. They never knew who the superheros were. The way they are making these movies now, they sort of take it for granted that the audience is familiar enough with the characters that they don't have to go into the sciency stuff of why and how there powers work. The backgrounds aren't what people came to see it's the action and a driving story. There are exceptions. Batman for example. His story cannot be told without the story of him seeing his parnets murdered as achild. It is such a life changing event that it forms the who what and why Bruce wayne does what he does. But people already know the story they just need it mentioned. not the night it happened or the why's and hows. This hulk took it for Granted that most people already knows what the Green behemoth can do. And they are right. We know these heros. No need to bore us with forty five minutes of background story. Get to why we are here. To see "Hulk Smash"

All though this movie had some great action scenes, the animation left me feeling a little short changed. The Hulk was either Huge or something shy of really tall. It didn't seem as if they paid any attention to having a constant size for him. Still, It was far better than the first movie when it came to a story line. As for Ed Norton, not a fan and he certainly isn't the hulk. Ed should have stuck to films like Kill Smoochy

I'm a big fan of Ed Norton and this is one of his worst performanes. The movie overall was just so-so - it will be what you expected. Some of the special effects are well done, but nothing to write home about.
