Good movie! My husband said he would give it 5 stars. We have no idea why all the bad reviews... good acting, true to life story, you felt the emotions of the characters and you could see it on their faces. In our opinion, it was worth seeing.
Not your typical Sherlock Holmes! The cast was great, the storyline was good, it had a lot of action; however, I had a hard time understanding the dialog, thus making it difficult to follow the plot. My husband enjoyed the movie and said he would give it a 4-star rating; however, he, too, had difficulty with the dialog and had to really pay attention in order to understand the English accents. I ended up watching the inside of my eyelids while my husband watched the movie.
We saw the 3D version and it was fantastic! The animation is phenominal and watching it "snow" in the theater was fun! However, we thought it would be much too scary for younger children.
My husband and I both enjoyed this movie very much! It was refreshing (for a change) to see a good movie with a great storyline (marriages can be saved with a little effort) and no bad language, nudity, shootings and sleeping around! The acting was mediocre at best, but Kirk Cameron's performance was good and believable. We would love to see more of this type of movie in our local theaters!
I was hoping to enjoy this movie as much as "Batman Begins." However, even though Heath Ledger's performance was great, the movie was just way too long, too violent and too dark for me.
I've never read Iron Man comics, in fact, I've never heard of Iron Man. Went with hubby to see it and I loved it! Don't miss it, and be sure to stay through the credits for the surprise at the end.
I have to admit I was skeptical going in; however, this movie kept my husband and I on the edge of our seats the entire time! The ending is worth the wait. And who knew... Hollywood CAN actually make a movie without potty-mouth language!! Don't miss this one!
The user reviews sent my husband and I to see this movie. However, we both expected a little more substance. This definitely is a kids' movie and it hits the mark for that criteria.
