If you're a fan of video games, music, comic books, or good movies, go see this film. For those of you deriding Scott Pilgrim, what did you think the movie was about? I was not previously aware of the graphic novels, so I did not go in as an initiated fan. But the jokes, the pace, the quirkiness, the translation of the graphic novel elements, and the story itself were excellent. I applaud Universal for investing in this gem, but I'm saddened to see that it's target demographic isn't ponying up the money to go see it in the theater. Fans of original films should see this as an opportunity to encourage the studios to keep making movies that aren't remakes / sequels. Sure to be a cult classic, DVD sales should be phenomenal.

My son made me see this because we are all avid gamers. It was a blast. Stylized like many graphic novels ported to the movies, there's lots of action and comedy. Barely noticed that it lasted 2 hours.

The geeky people will really enjoy this movie, I'm sure, but they aren't the only ones. Even if you aren't particularly geeky, you'll like the movie. The visuals were stunning, the soundtrack was great...I was even surprised by Michael Cera's performance (I'm usually pulled away from anything with him in it). I've seen the movie; I'm willing to pay to see it again and I'm going to buy it when it comes out on DVD...now I just need to get my hands on the graphic novels.

This, my friends, is why we go to the movies. To discover little gems of movies like "Scott Pilgrim." No matter what you believe this movie to be, it's that and more. The only reason it is not getting more press is that they don't know how to use the word "fantastic." A bit love story, a bit video game, a bit music video, and a lot of fun. While there might be a few weak moments, Michael Cera shows how versatile he can be. The rest of the cast brings it as well. You will laugh yourself silly and leave the theater with a big smile. Don't wait for the rental; see it today!

Although the geeks will get more out of it than anyone, there is still something for any viewer here, as long as they can get past the unique pacing of the film. Visually stunning, funny, action packed, and sometimes downright silly. I have seen it twice now and can't wait to get the DVD.

I really Enjoyed this movie, and must say it's not marketed very well. I heard about it from maybe 2 commercials, but then all word of mouth. Amazing movie. I'n not a huge Michael Cera fan, since he typically plays the same role in every movie, but this movie he kicks butt in. Really well done with the video game effects, the "pop-up video" style of burbs used. And the subtle little one liner's that just make the movie brilliant. It's more under rated than Kick Ass was. I would highly recommend this movie to all to see. Definitely one to see in the theater.

Slow start, but this is by far the funniest film of the year. I laughed so hard that I cried. All the video game and indie rock references were aptly placed and fun in each aspect. I was somewhat disappointed with the frequency of homosexuality jokes, but the rest of the film overcame those errors. Cera at his best-a must see!

The producers took a risk on the audience accepting that blur between fantasy and reality by incorporating some graphic novel styled effects. While the risk proves to be a brilliant idea that never pans out, the movie will still probably be a cult classic of this century.

Hubby and I went to see this because of its high rating. Big mistake- this movie is for young people - I guess.... Yes, it's different and well-acted, but I honestly couldn't see the humor in any of it. People in the audience were laughing, and I didn't even know why.
