I saw this movie yesterday in imax it was so good at times I was laughing so hard and there were times I was on the edge of my seet. My fav was the twins they had me rolling. it was cool to see the old primes in there as well. All and all it was a great move.

Bay has a knack for creating summer "blockbuster" type movies and this is yet another example. Yes the movie has some cheesy lines and scenes that were meant to be more funny than they were, but the movie is an action film. I expected to see action and action is what I got. The special effects, especially on IMAX, were absolutely incredible. My only complaint regarding the special effects is that many of the fight scenes were difficult to follow due to the closeness of the camera angle to the action...at times it was a blur as to who was firing at whom. Overall a pretty solid film but nothing groundbreaking.

Awesome movie! There is very little slow time in the movie. The almost non stop action keeps you pumped for the whole movie. Dont worry bout the 2.5 hour length, you wont even notice. Add to that the excellent score and you have the perfect combination. Lots of laughs, tons of action, and a few "Awww" parts for the girls.

#1 don't listen to the critics. This movie was what imax was made for. Stunning visuals good laughs and 2hr and 40 minutes still seemed short. Go see it you liked the first you will love this one, I will be seeing this one again and again. This is what wolverine should have been like, meaning lived up to its comic books and not what some directors imagination of great characters. All and all go see it or your familly, friends or somone on the bus will tell you about it.

I loved the first Movie and really looked forward to this one. Once I had decided to go see it in the Theater I opted for the IMAX. Found out later that IMAX had more content according to the Director. My female friend with me had heard Mr. Ryan Seacrest saying that it was a total Dude Film and all the movie was Meagan Fox shaking her money maker. I said "Just wait and make a decision for yourself". I could have used a little more story line it felt a little like talking to your crazy aunt from Pakipsi at times. I loved the Old timer and he was a bad A**. and what’s up with the crazy chick Decepticons chick robot that tries to kill Sam? I need a Coke and something nice to look at my head is hurting again with all these questions.

It's not too different from the first one, except for the fact being that it's dumber. The CG action was good, if not great, and is probably the only thing that's keeping it from me rating this movie below 3 stars. Dump any kind of use for logic when you watch this, otherwise you're going to have a lot of annoyances. The movie itself 'tries' to be smart, but when you try to acknowledge that it slaps you across the face. Sure, its Transformers, based on the animated series and toy action figures. That doesn't mean it has to have a terrible plot, cheesy comedy sketches, useless characters, many unfitting moments and a whole list of annoyances.

This movie was pretty awesome. Just seeing it as the "IMAX experience" was awesome enough. The explosions, and bot fight scenes were incredible. Shia's "sarcastic" humor (as I like to call it) made me laugh. And Megan Fox was looking as hot as ever. I'd highly recommend seeing this movie to anyone out there looking for a great time at the movies. See it in the IMAX experience if you can!

Took my wife and 2 sons-ages 8 and 5-to IMAX screening. Was possibly the longest AND shortest 2.5 hours of my life!
I say longest, because the action was RELENTLESS and at times I couldn't fathom how much was happening. I say shortest, because by the end, I wanted more.
New characters were great. Hardware (military and otherwise) was top notch. Storyline was a bit soft compared to the 1st installment, but totally forgivable considering the Super Sized serving of metal carnage and phenomenal scenery and locations.
My kids loved it-they are already begging for a 3rd movie. My wife loved it-"...perfect summer eye candy...."

The critics were too harsh in their reviews and they were blowing a lot of smoke. I saw the movie and really enjoyed it. I agree it wasn't better than the first movie but I blame the writer's strike for the plot being all over the place. The action and comedic points were entertaining. I didn't feel anything to be racist or sexist. The twins were illiterate but didn't make me feel they were dissing me as a black person and as a woman I know guys love sexy women and cars so the two together in this movie just made sense. If you have an open mind and just want to enjoy a good action movie with great effects and you are not an old dude (that doesn't have a clue about transformers in general) then this movie is for you.

The only reason I give this movie 4 stars out of 5 is because of the intense, state of the art, action combined with the IMAX experience. It is something that I will never forget. There weren't 5 minutes that went by that something wasn't blowing up.
Saying that however, the plot to this movie SUCKED. I won't go into details, but the plot was very poorly put together and did not flow well at all.
This is a MUST SEE in IMAX, see it any other way and you will most likely be disappointed. Also, Megan Fox is the most amazing human being ever, she made the movie for me :)

Went into the movie expecting to see a bunch of explosions, great special effects and most of all giant robots fighting. This movie delivered all of that. I did not expect any Oscar worthy performances and a gripping story so I was not disappointed with the average acting and dialogue. There is some very crude language and humor so not sure how kid friendly it is for kids that are eleven to twelve. I took my nine year old daughter with me and she loved it, but the crude humor seemed to go right over her head. I'd be cautious with a child that might be old enough to understand the references and will go see the third one that we all know is inevitable first before I decide to take her with me.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is one of those movies that once you see, you'll want to see again and again for one reason alone, giant fighting robots. It's pretty exhausting by the end, with pulse pounding sounds that rattle your brain and visuals that are simply stunning. The only thing that I recommend is that you throw any sense of logic or reasoning into the trash before entering the cinema, because if you think about what's actually going on, you might find yourself disappointed. Overall, it's definitely a must see, but while the action definitely out does the first movie, that one still stands towering over Revenge of the Fallen.

The Transformers sequel left little to be desired, except for originality, good dialogue, and closure. The laughs were bawdy in far too many places, not for taking your 8 year old kids to see. The plot opened up too much: a new supreme Decepticon, Optimus is now a messiah, aliens in ancient ruins - things not hinted at in the first movie. Petra is now cliché thanks to Indiana Jones, and Sam's near-death scene was right out of Harry Potter. How about redrawing the national borders to leave out Israel at the tip of the sea where Egypt, Jordan, and Israel meet? We can't mention them without hurting revenues world-wide. The bad guys live - easy sequel in 2011.

I LOVED IT!!! IT WAS BETTER THAN THE FIRST. LOTS OF MORE ACTION AND LOVED THE FIGHTING SCENES. MY KIDS AGES (3,5) LOVED IT. THEY MADE ME PUT ON THE MUSIC VIDEO TO THE MOVIE AND WATCH THE PREVIEWS TO IT.

Michael Bay did a great job jump-starting the story with fight scenes, creating a fast paced movie that sucks you in without boring you to death. Worth every penny.
A thrill ride from start to finish. Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf do a great job once again.

This was the greatest movie I have seen all year! Tons of cazry action. Oh and seeing it in IMAX, well that just made it 1000 times better, you felt like you were in the movie fighting along side the Autobots. Everyone should go see this movie in IMAX. You would really be missing out on a true adventure if you dont!

Phenominal! Saw it in the IMAX witch was also amazing. Be sure and watch the 1st Transformers because this one continues right on.
I usually don't see movies a second time but this maybe one of those!
