It was a good, solid movie. Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are great. The only thing I would have done different is have the "who done it" part more of a mystery.. While the twist at the end is good, it might have been better to be a complete suprise.

I liked the way the story confused you of who was doing the killings. In some of the scenes the editing was a little choppy. If the movie didn't have these two respectable actors, it would not have been this successful in the theaters. No Academy Award winning movie here.

The critics were not impressed, but their warning was not strong enough. They just said it disappointed them. I thought perhaps their expectations were extremely high. I was wrong. You would think a 101 minute movie would not drag, not matter how unexciting it was. Well, it did. It moved from one episode to the next without any organic connection or forward propulsion. The twist at the end could have been exploited to inject some semblance of decent story-telling, but the twist was itself the ending. The movie just drops dead at that point -- after 90 minutes of walking dead.

I simply love Al Pacino. From first he became known as a young actor, I've been a devoted fan. He was awesome to watch. It is he that drew me to see the movie. Very suspenseful. Great drama from the very beginning. Kept me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who was killing all the "bad" guys. Two veteran actors still able to pull off a fantastic movie.

Violent, vulgar and dark, but that's the kind of movie it is. DeNiro and Pacino play off each other very well and the plot is a WhoDunIt when a bunch of people could. You don't feel sorry for the "victims" because they all had it coming, though the denial of due process is a little disturbing. Someone has to go down for the killings, and someone does. It's not so believable as it is well-acted hyperbole of feelings we've had and actions we've wanted to take but are wrong to take. If you don't like really bad language or sexual inuendo and a brief bedroom scene, don't see this.

There's barely any plot... The producers thought that just having two great actors on the set would sell their movie... No matter how good they are (they work really well together on the screen), if there's no story you can't make a good movie out of it. The 2nd star is for having DeNiro and Pacino. Without them, this movie would be 1 star and out for trash. I still wouldn't recommend this movie for DVD

Granted my expectations were quite high, but I missed the chemestry between DeNiro and Pacino. I guess I thought there would be fireworks but there relationship in the movie seemed flat and at times one dementional. Both gave fine individual preformances however and the plot twist came as quite a surprise. Very entertaining.

It was great to see these two superb actors together on the screen again. The movie just kept going with lots of suspense. You really didn't know the 'twist' until the end. The camera shots were excellent. In fact, I would like to see it again, just to see if I could have figured it out earlier. I looked up Al Pacino's age - he is 68 and DeNiro is 65 - Al does look a little older.

I gave it one star, because it is the lowest star possible. What a waste of money and time; even though the movie was a little over an hour and a half, it seemed endless. Expected better. I figured out the ending within five minutes. DeNiro and Pacino were just not believable in these roles, a little old perhaps?; and what was the point of DeNiro's "action" with that young thing - it had no relation at all to the plot, unless this was a long commercial for the little blue pill. DeNiro should stick to comedies in his later years.

Love to see Pacino and DeNiro - only negative was that the movie was too short and it became obvious who was the Righteous Killer before they sprang it on us. But, be that as it may - these two are the finest, consumate actors alive today and it was sheer delight to watch them on the big screen.

The pairing of DeNiro and Pacino was great (as was expected). These two actors are among my top favorites. The storyline however was predictable and at times slow moving. That said, my husband and I both enjoyed the movie and are glad that we went to see it. I wouldn't say it is one of my favorite movies, but it was good! The twist at the end could have been a lot better by revealing a different character as the perpetrator.
