The folks at Pixar deserve a lot of credit for continually putting forth such great family films. Furthermore, they deserve great acclaim for performing the rarest of feats in making a sequel that transcends its predecessors. Toy Story 3 is a near-perfect movie, and the fact that is is suitable for all ages is such a huge bonus. I cannot recommend this film highly enough.

If you love Toy Story, you will love this too. I would have given it 5 stars, but the only complaint that I have is the 3D was not great. Do not spend the extra $$$, go see it in regular format & you will not regret a thing.
All the kids loved it too, there were a few scarier parts, but nothing I would have not taken them for. Ages in our group: 4 Adults, 11, 9, 9, 8, 8, 8, 7, 5, 4, 3

WOW The best TS yet... the creators are geniuses. I took an 8 & 10 year old... but I found myself balling and the poignancy of this story and the high human values that it represents. I am completely in love with Woody & Buzz. They are the first animated characters since Mickey Mouse to deserve our love and affection. My only criticism is that when "Hollywood" creates a 3-D version of a film, the chidden are paying more for a movie that all the adults going to "regular" fair. I am also a bit annoyed that we cannot pay for the glasses separately and continue to use them rather than have to pay the higher fees. It would help with recycling more efficiently than the collection box outside the theater AND it would show good faith to the children/families that want to see the film in a theater.... making a more powerful experience over just another CD at home in a few months.

Saw this with my 16 yr. old daughter and her friend. Tears started within the first 20 minutes. Very touching story which was beautifully told. And thank you for the laughs! Nice balance in the end. Wasn't crazy about the 3D but the glasses helped hide the tears! GO SEE IT!!!!!

We took our 4 year old to see Toy Story3 in 3D, (it's all we've heard about for weeks) and it did not disappoint! We all really enjoyed this film, loved the 3D. Now she wants the Woody and Buzz Lightyear toys to play with just like the child in the movies!

We saw Toy Story 3 with our 20 year old daughter (who was seeing it for the 2nd time). We thoroughly enjoyed it. Like the first Toy Story, the movie appeals to all ages, with humor that can be appreciated by adults as well as children. The 3-D experience was fun for my husband and me. We were aware that the effects were not over the top so as to not make younger viewers uncomfortable. There were some very funny lines and the story line is clever. Make sure to be seated in time to see the animated short before the movie. It is fabulous and a great platform to demonstrate what can be done with 3-D animation!

Disney has kept up with there usual standards. This movie is great for kids and parents alike. The movies plot was cute and refreshingly new. Almost shed a tear or too, but kept it cool in front of the kids. Not too many slow parts so be sure to go to the bathroom before the movie starts. I really enjoyed the movie, even with the sad ending, but seeing it in 3D is a waste of time and money. It didn't add anything to the movie, and there were only one or two scenes where it made any difference at all. It was a great ending to the Toy Story saga. "El Buzzo" was a scene stealer, when he could only communicate in Spanish. Provided a whole new dimension. Overall Toy Story 3 equalled or surpassed 1 & 2 a , a rarity for sequels. Definitely worth seeing in the theater, especially in 3-D. Once again, Pixar manages to amaze us with stunning animation- the level of detail this time is SUPER impressive, and while these days we expect them to bring inanimate objects to life in a realistic and human way, this third installment trumps them all- the characters seem more "alive" than ever before and the environments are incredible.
The storyline too is great, providing a satisfying ending to the franchise- not necessarily the tear-jerker I was expecting to encounter, but so sweet and endearing that if you don't get misty-eyed during the last 15 minutes then go to the doctor immediately because you have no heart.

Loved the movie. Took our 3 year old granddaughter and she never said a word during the show, it was that good. The only thing was that I wasn't impressed with the 3D part. It really didn't add that much to the show, and the glasses were too big for little kids anyway.

My 15 year old boy asked me to take him. I LOVED the first 2 and was not too sure they could out do those, but I took him anyway. I LOVED Toy Story 3!!! What a great story line, characters were so real and amazing. The movie is so funny and touching. Overall it was a good movie and I cried at the end. There is a beautiful sweetness to the playing with toys, however my caution comes in the hugging bear toy. The way this character is built is as a soft and kind, hug-gable teddy. But he turns into a menacing and murderous character and could bring a since of distrust to young children. If you do watch this with children, I recommend having a conversation about deception and manipulation and learning to trust/ not trust. Make sure you allow them to ask questions or discuss how they felt about the characters. There were some truly beautiful moments in this movie, but be aware of the bear.

This movie will not just get nominated for best animated movie it will get one of the ten slots for best picture. This movie had a great plot great 3-D. Just everything you would want in a movie.

Me I just loved the whole thing I watched it in Disney Digital 3-D and I have to say it was funny however there was more 3-D in the Trailers than the Movie but it was a fun experiance I was happy to see how this movie ended it was a warm and heartfelt movie that I will love to add to my Movie Collection. A must see for all Toy Story fans and a must see for all ages.

Toy Story 3 was excellent! I loved it and so did my 8 & 5 year old boys. I laughed, I cried, and I was at the edge of my seat too! What more can you ask of a movie? Great ending too.

I took my 11 year old to see the movie as we've been planning for a year since we heard the movie would premiere on his birthday - June 18th. When he was about 18 months, I bought the DVDs of Toy Story and Toy Story 2. He immediately loved them and at first I was like "here we go, more kids' movies". But it turned out to be two of my favorite movies that we would watch over and over throughout the years. I was going through a painful divorce back in 2001. I have custody of my son so these movies were a way for me to escape and spend quality time together. Watching TS3, brought back all the memories of the two of us: Dad and son. The movie had humor for the kids and for the adults. It was really good. An excellent way to "grow" Andy's character for everyone who watched him in the earlier movies. Toward the end of the movie, we were both crying but hiding it from the other one. Later in the car I told him the movie made me think of him when he was a baby. He looked and me and started crying. I asked him what was wrong, he replied "it's my birthday and I'm happy." We both busted out in tears! LOL Disney you've done it again! Another hit on your hands. I can't wait to add this to our DVD collection to watch again and again and again... It was a special experience I'll never forget.
