A sure contender for an Oscar

It has been a long time since I have seen a movie this terrific. The acting, the screenplay, the cinematography............all outstanding. Natalie Portman is brilliant in a role of a lifetime. Yes, there were "I cannot look at this" moments and I usually avoid movies like that. But this movie surpassed my discomfort. I strongly recommend it to mature audiences with an appreciation for fine acting and riveting plot.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Fun for all ages

We saw Toy Story 3 with our 20 year old daughter (who was seeing it for the 2nd time).
We thoroughly enjoyed it. Like the first Toy Story, the movie appeals to all ages, with humor that can be appreciated by adults as well as children. The 3-D experience was fun for my husband and me. We were aware that the effects were not over the top so as to not make younger viewers uncomfortable. There were some very funny lines and the story line is clever.
Make sure to be seated in time to see the animated short before the movie. It is fabulous and a great platform to demonstrate what can be done with 3-D animation!
