Toy Story 3 was exceptional in so many ways- the quality of the animation was amazing, the story line was well executed and the pace kept your attention without exhausting you. All around a good film for young and old alike. Might be a little frightening for the 5-and-under set at times, but otherwise something there for everyone in the family.

This movie was funny, and it had a good plot. Sometimes, G-rated movies are boring for adults, but not this one. I wonder if only adults understood the plot line.
I would have liked to have seen some outtakes at the end, like the ones shown at the end of Toy Story 2.
Even though the toys have a new owner at the end, could there be a Toy Story 4? Why not? We'll see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Toy Story 3 is a fantastic movie. The script is great. The animation is what we've come to expect from Pixar. And, the 3D is subtle (most of the time) and very well done. The story line kept two adults engaged for the entire movie. Fortunately, the trailers and reviews hadn't given away that much. Some young children might have a problem with one scene, but we would take out grandchildren without any concern.
While many of the voices behind the characters are very recognizable, they don't intrude on the story. This movie is about the script and not about the actors.
We cried, we laughed, and we easily let ourselves get lost in the movie. It was great. After all, movies are about an escape from the real world even if the message (and it is a strong one) is very applicable to our every day lives.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I had high expectations going in and was not one bit disappointed. The action was fast, the dialog was easily understandable for children but not talked down to for adults. I had tears running down my cheeks the last minutes of the film. It was a fitting ending to a wonderful trilogy.

This movie was PHENOMENAL. Typically, I don't go much for sequels, but this is one to make an exception. You'll experience all of the lovable Toy Story characeters in moments of adventure and comedy, and you will likely be brought to tears, too. I can't recall the last animated movie where I was so emotionally invested in the characters - you really care for them! My only regret is that I did not watch the first two Toy Story movies in anticipation of this 3rd one. I would highly recommend doing that; it will only add more impact to your cinematic experience.

This film lives up to the high standards established by Toy Story 1 and 2, and just about all of the Pixar Studios' productions. The story line itself strikes emotional chords with adults (life transitions) and with kids (separation), in a very delicate manner. The adults will love the retro humor (e.g., Ken and Barbie courtship) and the kids will relate once again to the typical activities they engage with toys, and the concept of good and evil. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this film with our 7 and 9-year olds. The 3-D effects added a really nice touch, again, without going overboard. Toy Story 3 is not to be missed!

Toy Story 3, the latest and possibly final chapter, keeps the feel and spirit alive of the Toy Story franchise. There is lots of action and "feel good" interaction for the kids and a deeper subtext for the adults. A good family movie for all.

Don't Walk! -- RUN to see "Toy Story 3" in 3D before it moves off the 3D screens! While it would be a wonderful movie in its own right without the 3D animation effects, your kids don't want to miss the FANTASTIC work done by Pixar in animating this film. Even adults will feel that they are IN the movie! More importantly, Disney brings these characters alive with emotion. I had a tearful moment when Andy said "Goodbye" to his childhood as he was leaving for college.

This movie was fantastic! All three of my kids, ages 5 and 2 loved the movie, and so did my husband and I. The 3-D effects were great! Over all well worth it outing to the movies! To top it all off, we went to AMC 20 at Town Center in Leawood, KS and the employees at the theater were especially helpful. I had my husband sit in the theater with the kids while I went to the consession stand. The employees actually helped me carry the drinks and popcorn to the theater! They were wonderful and it really added to the whole experience. Thank you AMC!

My husband & I are 58 (no kids or grandkids) & we LOVED IT. The story line was so heart felt for adults but a great lesson for kids. The emotions were all over the board and I was sobbing towards the end because Woody and "the gang" were all so real! 3-D was OK but I would have enjoyed it without.

Went with my wife and our 12 year old son. The wife loved it but both my son and I were only mildly impressed. We enjoyed the 3-D and while the story line was well within chratacter of the first two, we just couldn't get ito it. Characters were good, and yes there was humor and the feel good story line that is typical Pixar but just not entertaining as some of the others that we really like such as Cars.

This is another charmer from Pixar. This carries the sequence to the time the toys' owner has grown to the point of just leaving for college. What to do with those beloved toys?! I didn't think this story had quite the cleverness and whimsy of the first two, but it's still a charmer. But there are new mean toys, and toy perfidy, which may unsettle the youngest movie goers.

This movie is entertaining enough, but I didn't find it as light-hearted as the previous Toy Stories. This is due in part to its theme of growing up and leaving some of our childhood things behind. However, there are some other factors of concern, too. Some of the young children in the audience found a few scenes pretty frightening, although the six-year-old in our group was fine with them. The teens in our group identified with the themes. As an adult, I was not as entertained with the film as I had hoped, but it had its moments. I would recommend the film overall, with some reservations. Don't bother paying the extra money for the 3-D, though; the effects were not worth it in this film.

I saw this movie with my husband and two six year olds. While the movie was good, I did not think it was as good as the first two. I also found it to be oddly inappropriate for young children at times. One scene was quite frightening. In another scene, the subtitles were humorous for adults, but it was lost on the kids. My one six year old told us that he did not like this movie...

The movie was great!!! My wife, Daughter and I all loved it. It made us laugh and even made my daughter cry. I think she could relate to going off to college and giving up childhood things. I am still a little confused about the 3D - Again the movie was a little dark at times and nothing really jumped off the screen - why even bother with 3D? It's a great movie and doesn't need special effects to sell.
