This film lives up to the high standards established by Toy Story 1 and 2, and just about all of the Pixar Studios' productions. The story line itself strikes emotional chords with adults (life transitions) and with kids (separation), in a very delicate manner. The adults will love the retro humor (e.g., Ken and Barbie courtship) and the kids will relate once again to the typical activities they engage with toys, and the concept of good and evil. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this film with our 7 and 9-year olds. The 3-D effects added a really nice touch, again, without going overboard. Toy Story 3 is not to be missed!
