Pleaase do not listen to the nay-sayers. The last Air Bender was a decent movie who followed the TV series fairly well. It is difficult to transform 8 hours of TV to 2 hours of movie. Was it great.....no but it did leave me anxious for the next one. 3 D was really missng, that was the biggest down fall. Script and characters were not nearly as bad as the critics portrayed. No oscar winner here but still fairly entertaining. If you were a fan of the TV show then this is worth seeing. Don't expect greatness just open minded and you won't be disappointed. The wife and my son were all in agreement with the above.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Went with my wife and our 12 year old son. The wife loved it but both my son and I were only mildly impressed. We enjoyed the 3-D and while the story line was well within chratacter of the first two, we just couldn't get ito it. Characters were good, and yes there was humor and the feel good story line that is typical Pixar but just not entertaining as some of the others that we really like such as Cars.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
