This movie was amazing ! It was just like the book and I loved it. Everything was the way I expected but I wish there would've been a little more romance between Edward & Bella ! OTHER THAN THAT, TWILIGHT WAS AMAZING !

I was really impressed with the movie. The movie definately stayed true to the book, although I would have enjoyed seeing more of Edward and Bella falling in love.

My anticipation of waiting for this movie to hit the "big screen" was completely satisfied when I seen it 11/21/08. As difficult as it may seem to cram the whole story line of the book into a two hour movie, I think the job was well done. I loved the characters of Bella and Edward as well as all the others, example: Charlie, Carlise, Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, Emmett, Jacob(whom I never even cared for in the book), and all the others. The book carried a love story of two teenagers in love (although, Edward did have a few years up on Bella, LOL) and it was so well portrayed in the movie. I can't wait to go back and see it a second time!!!!

I have read all 4 books and was highly impressed with how this movie turned out, although there were a few added scences to the movie that were not in the book itself, which threw me off a bit, but none the less I LOVED it. Each character was excatly how I pictured them in my mind!! I believe each actor/actress did a wonderful job protraying their character right down to signature moves and smiles even more so glares!! HIGHLY recomend this movie to anyone who enjoys a the good old fashion romances with a modern twist! :)

It was very well done. It is a lengthy book, so a few scenes had to be cut, but this is to be expected. Generally the film industry nowadays tend to slaughter movies based on books. But seeing Twilight, and being a HUGE fan, I was very pleased.The cast was great, and the movie was rather entertaining. It went a little fast, but I loved it =] I would so see it again, and again =D.

I can probably say that most everyone who was awaiting the arrival of the Twilight movie had certain standards. My standards were that the characters had the same names, they lived in forks, there were no fangs, and they kept the main structure of the story intact. Although a few parts in the book I was hoping would be in the movie had unfortunately had been cut, I still loved the movie very much. I reached my expectations and I am very pleased to say that, although it is different, it will always be perfect to me. This Twilight is my Twilight and I'm so happy with the way it turned out.

This movie was absolutely awesome. I loved the way that the actors personalities worked together. The actors were really great. They all fit the charector traits of the charectors that Stephenie Meyer created. I read the books and I think the movie was pretty close to the books. Some scenes form the book I was looking forward to seeing sadly were not there for example the blood typing scene. But over all it was the best movie that I'm seen in a while. Ialso liked the way Stephenie Meyer was in the movie that was kinda cool.

I went in with an open mind, b/c I know books cannot be translated the same on film. I was very pleased. I felt like if I would've seen the exact same as the book, it would have been predictable, expected. This way the movie added more to the book, versus taking away. I can't speak the same for those seeing the movie, w/out reading the book though. I can't wait for the next!

Overall the movie was well done. I think the casting was excellent. I was worried about Robert playing Edward and he was brilliant!! Kristen is a perfect Bella as Ashley Greene is Alice. I would have liked to see more of the Cullens than I did of James and his coven. The chemistry between Bella and Edward was fabulous. It moves fast and could have been longer. I am eagerly waiting New Moon.

Amazing movie, I would totally recommend it to anyone. it doesn't matter if you didn't read the book; you'll still enjoy it. Reading the book is a plus: it gives you the character's background and some insight into what they are thinking. The book definately compliments the movie. In no way is the movie a substitute though. Edward is a hottie!! I have never seen a sexier vampire! A little awkward at times, but like I said, you have to read the book to understand his reactions and his mindset.

I give this movie 4 stars only because I love the books and this movie went with my love of them. I did however have some reservations about the screenplay. I felt the movie was "dumbed" down for its target audience. I think the writers need to give teenagers a little more credit than that. If they can understand the book and get the complexities in that, than a more complex screenplay can work. The book are more intimately written and the connections between characters more interwoven than the movie included. I do get the time contraints a movie has to endure but I felt like more of this could have been included. All in all I did really enjoy the movie and plan on buying it on DVD when it comes out.

and with that said i really enjoyed the movie. it was a bit diff from the book, but any book reader knows this will happen. i was a bit disappointed in the acting and the way the love between Bella and Edward was rushed. some of the out of sequence things bothered me, but over all the movie was good. i do have to say the cinematography was amazing. it was one of the most beautiful movies i've seen in a while.

I've seen this movie twice in three days. I didn't like it too much the first time, but I loved it the second time. I felt that they did a lot for a low budget movie. I would say that the only down side was the Edward's sparkle effect. I've read that they weren't sure how to do and it shows. Hopefully, now that the sequel has beeen announced and the budget will be significantly larger, the effects will be better.

Loved the movie! I took my 14 year old daughter. Both of us have read the books. It was very romantic! Theonly way that it could have been better was if the 5th book was done and you could have seen Edward's version of the events as well as Bella's. We hope the next movie is not sad & depressing as the 2nd book. Too much about Jacob. The fans really want to know what Edward is doing during his time away from Bella.

This was actually a love story as opposed to being a vampire-type horror film. Twilight is a story of two teenagers from different struggling to find their place in the world and they find it in each other. The story line was pretty cool and I think you will enjoy it.

I was a little disappointed, I read the saga and was excited to see the movie. It was silly at times, though I think Kristen Stewart made an exceptional Bella. The Edward character was comical at times, I don't understand why the director did that.

The movie was pretty good. Considering that its almost impossible to capture these phenominal books on film, I thought they did a pretty good job. They cuts out some of my favorite parts, and missed some minor details that bothered me, but overall, whether you've read the books or not, it's a good movie to go out and see.

I've read all 4 books & what is done of Midnight Sun and I must say I was very pleased w/ the movie. I know Hollywood cant do everything from book to movie so I wasnt expecting every detail to be in the movie but I really loved this movie. It tries to get in as much info as possible to tell the story right. Rob played Edward really well, he was romantic, cute, but also dark. I mean come on a vampire has to have a scary side. Kristen made Bella very awkward which is what Bella is. My guy friend that came w/ me who has not read any of the books really enjoyed the movie. I cant wait for it to come out on DVD. I have seen it twice so far and will probably see it more.

AMAZING. I loved this movie. I read all 4 books and it was just fantastic to finally see it put on screen. Sure it wasn't exactly point on compared to the books. But you should just appreciate it for what it was. And if you did read the books you'll get all the silent moments and awkward stares. If you didn't read the books the movie probably would be really boring to you because you wouldn't understand what was actually going on. But nevertheless, still amazing! Because seriously, who doesn't love Edward Cullen?! xoxo.

I read the books and loved them. When I first heard abouthe movie I was very hesitant about it, I didn't think that they could capture the magic Twilight has. I am very happy to say that I was wrong. I loved the movie! Krysten and Rob have a chemistry that make the romance of Bella and Edward belivable. Their chemistry and attitude toward the charaters made the magic real. And the lines taken from the book kept the intestity and love that they protried. I would recomentd the books and the movie to everyone. If you are worried about going to see the movie becuase you haven't read the books I have on good account (my non-reader sister) that the movie was still amazing. I have to say that over all I could not be more thrilled about it.

I have reached my saturation point for giggling teenage girls with this movie. If you are a girl between the ages of 12 and 18 (maybe a bit older in some cases...) then you will likely enjoy this flick. A poor man's Romeo and Juliet draped in gothic dim light populated by pasty-skinned (albeit handsome) teens. For the rest of us we will endure. For most males and the vast majority of the cine-going populace we would prefer the 15 minute condensed version...if they ever make one. Better to skip Twilight and snuggle up at home with a "Twilight Zone" TV show anthology - any year. This movie had zero tension....but it did make some of us wonder why anyone would enjoy kissing someone with ice-cold, clammy, dead lips? Sexy - huh?

I read the books before the movie came out and fell in love with the characters. So as you may imagine I was really excited to go see it. But when I was watching it I was extremely disappointed that they changed facts of the book, made Edward a really awkward guy, and took out some of the best scenes in the book. I definitely won't tell anybody to go see this movie.

I consider a movie that is based on a book to be an interpretation, not a perfect adaptation. With this as my guide, I felt that the movie Twilight did a great job capturning the essence of the novel on screen. All the actors really brought the characters from the book to life. In particular, I loved the Cullens and wished they had played a bigger role! I loved the scenes with Edward and Bella and wished for more romantic build-up - it seemed as if they fell in love in a few days. They needed to develop their love story more deeply, which is what made the book shine. But with 500 pages of material to cover, they could hardly show everything! Overall, I was very pleased and can't wait to see it again and buy it on DVD!
