I never was a Star Trek fan, but I loved this movie! It was the perfect mix of story line and action. I took my 'trekkie" mom and she was happier than a kid in a candy store.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

and with that said i really enjoyed the movie. it was a bit diff from the book, but any book reader knows this will happen. i was a bit disappointed in the acting and the way the love between Bella and Edward was rushed. some of the out of sequence things bothered me, but over all the movie was good. i do have to say the cinematography was amazing. it was one of the most beautiful movies i've seen in a while.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
