Now i hate the fact that people said they didn't like it. THEY HAD LITTLE MONEY AND ONLY 2, i repeat, 2 HOURS FOR THE FILM!!!! i had low expectations for the movie because the book was too phenomenal for it to be remade. However, Summit did an EXCELLENT BEYOND EXCELLENT job! Scenes that i wish they did put were: blood type, bellas heartbeat and blushing, and the "tamper with your memory part" where edward says "damn it bella, ull be the death of me!" But once again, it was a funny, romantic, action filled, over the top movie.

I don't think I would have liked the movie as much had I not read the book first. The movie itself wasn't that spectacular, but the cast was great! I think they did an excellent job of choosing the right actors for the parts. Everyone was very close to what I had pictured in my head, especially the actor who portrays Edward.

Well i liked more my experience with the book. The book is awesome, and the movie, well I was expecting for more. There was a lack of passion, I was expecting for more climax....it was good...the actors did a good job. I hope the 2nd movie gets better like the book. I think that Meyer deserves more effort, Twilight....(is just simple)....rules!!!

I think that the movie was great. It wasn't exactly the book but what movie is? I thought that this was wonderful, and that the actors playing Edward (Rob Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) did a wondeful job. I can't wait for the other movies and I hope that they are as good as this one. :)

I waited and waited for this movie because I loved the book series so much but when the movie finally started, I waited for the characters that grabbed my heart and soul through the pages of the book to appear, but they never did!The script and acting were poor. Yes, Edward looked good but that's about it. I felt no chemistry between the onscreen Edward & Bella where in the book, it OOZED off of the pages. What happened to Alice - where was her story?Jacob?Carlisle? In snipping away storylines to fit into a movie,they destroyed the essence of SM's Twilight world. I'm in physical pain from the horrific attempt at bringing this beautiful and intriguing story to life. Whatever you do...don't go see this movie. UGH ::DISGUST:::

I think that it was pretty good. The screaming girls kind of detracted from the movie, but it was good overall. I'm pretty sure that you need to read the book to understand the movie, but I read the book so I didn't have any problem with it. I thought it followed the movie pretty closely.

Even though they deviated from the book in quite a lot of places I did enjoy the movie. They left the heart of the movie, the relationship between Bella and Edward, in tact. I would recommend it and would see it again.
The casting was excellent, Kristen and Robert sizzle onscreen. The deviations from the book bring characters to the forefront that bring more chills to the movie.

The movie was OK but doesn't compare to the book! I knew there was no way that all the detail could be captured but I was suprised at how much was left out. The deep love formed between Bella & Edward wasn't felt in the movie - they went directly from being strangers to in love. Viewers that haven't read the book will really miss out! The twirling camera work made me dizzy and the scene with Bella & Edward in the tree was too long. This time would have been better spent on enhancing the storyline.
I loved the casting, though! The actors performed well. My friend wanted to see the movie again right away. I will probably watch it again but on DVD. Maybe then I can distance myself from the story in the book to better enjoy the movie.

This was a great movie! It is so well done and follows the book almost to a T! I love that the two scene's where you see James and Victoria attacking really helps ephasize the fact that they are not like the Cullens family when you meet them on the Baseball field!

I love the books so I was excited to see the movie. I am more than a fan I am a fantatic. I felt the movie was good and kept true to the book, but i have to say that I felt that a few of the actors were stale. Not at all what I expected. I also felt that the directors choice for Rosalie was AWEFUL. But I will say it left me wanting more, Can't wait for the next movie. Hopefully they work out the bugs and make another blockbuster!

The movie was perfectly cast (including the antagonists), the special effects were wonderful, and the film captured the atmosphere created in the first book of the series. Kristen Stewart shines as Bella. I was sorry to see it end. I will see it again on the big screen and buy DVD on the day of release.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed the books, this movie was a HUGE letdown. The characters, for the most part, and the scenery were portrayed superbly, but the direction was sadly lacking. It made for highly AWKWARD dialogue between Edward and Bella... it was choppy and not too convincing. I say this is bad direction because, as an actor, you do need someone to give direction and say, "No, this looks awkward, try it another way." Obviously there were plenty of places where this just didn't happen. There were even some parts that were entirely serious that I ended up laughing at because they just looked ridiculous. Let's hope New Moon is an improvement. I can't imagine what the typical "sophomore slump" would do to the Twilight series...

I was very hesitant when I found out that Robert Pattinson would be playing Edward Cullen and that Kristen Stewart would be playing Bella Swan, but both of them pulled it off very well. I was very much into the movie throughout the whole time! I loved every second. Though some things from the book was left out, I still found myself enjoying the movie fully! Congrats cast! It was fanstastic! MUST SEE!

Not as good as the book. Stephanie Meyer has a gift. The movie was excellent in its own way. I just wish they would have gone into more detail with Bella and Edwards relationship, how they got to know each other better. Otherwise a good movie, now I am waiting for movie number 2.

I am addicted to the books and it is such a relief to have the movie finally on the big screen!! I've seen it twice, would be more if I had the time and money. It was great. There are obviously things that had to be changed, since they had to shorten it to fit a 2 hour span, and on a small budget, there were a few spaces that the extra time or special effects were needed, but overall? AWESOME!!!
My only complaint??? Make New Moon 3 hours!!! They all really need that extra hour, and I think they'll have the funding for it on New Moon!!

i thought the twilight movie was really good. they had to cut a bunch of scenes (i missed the bloodtyping) and they added lines that weren't in the book (hang on tight spidermonkey, for example) but overall it was great. edward is gorgeous, bella is just right, emmet = hottt, alice is perfect, charlie is just like i imagined him, and james is sooo scary. i wasn't happy w japser's hair or rosalie in general, but you can't have it all...the kiss scene was amazing and the whole theater was laughing for most of the movie. (even parts that fell flat were hilarious!) i'd def reccomend watching it, whether or not you've read the books.

I have long been a fan of the book series and I can say that other fans will not be disappointed! I tried not to let my expectations to be too high. I often find that films surrounded with such hype usually don't deliver. However, Twilight is an exception. I thought that the movie as a whole could have been longer, especially the hotel scences near the end. Also, the medow scence seemed to pass too quickly. It didn't seem to have the same emotion that the book includes in this scene. There are a few scences that are not in the book, but it all flows very smoothly and helps the plot along. The casting was perfect! If you haven't seen this movie yet, go do so! I definately plan on seeing it again!!
