I think that it was pretty good. The screaming girls kind of detracted from the movie, but it was good overall. I'm pretty sure that you need to read the book to understand the movie, but I read the book so I didn't have any problem with it. I thought it followed the movie pretty closely.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I wasn't even that interested in this movie really, but this movie was great. I'm not going to give any spoilers, but it will definitely keep you interested throughout the whole movie. Definitely on my top ten list!
