One hellava good movie. In my opinion, this is a very emotional and bitter-sweet movie especially towards the end. You'll cry at the end so take some tissue! I loved Rosario Dawson; this may be the movie that will launch her career to higher heights. Caution, this movie is not for those whose who are sensitive on the subject of suicide.
Kudos to the director, producers, Smith, Dawson and Harrelson!!

The movie starts out rather slow but chugs along giving you little pieces of the puzzle. If you don't figure it out before the end, the story puts it all together for you. It was a good movie; for me- I didn't seem to connect with the characters the way I usually do with a movie like this. Normally I would have jerked a pretty good tear but this time I didn't. I still recommend seeing it though.

I loved seeing the story come together and felt it was a very compelling story line. The pace was just right and I was enthralled from the very beginning. Will Smith and Rosario Dawson were very in tune with their characters and made the story that much more emotional for me.

I don't know why some of the critcs didn't like this movie. I thought the movie was excellent and Will Smith turned in another dramatic performance. Although some may see the movie as controversial, if one understands the power of pain, I think it is an accurate portrayal of what one might go through.

This is a very deep movie and, though a little depressing, a very good message for the season. Knowing from all of the advance promotion and interviews that this movie doesn't unravel until the very end, I had no problem with the length and time taken for that to happen.
It may have been nice to have just a little more action earlier in film...perhaps an expansion on the car accident just for shock value. But, otherwise excellent!!!

Acting exceptional, but with this movie, who cares! Plain boring. My wife fell asleep three times. The 'surprise' ending might as well be parading up main street with a brass band and a drum and bugle corps. my friend and I saw this movie because the trailers made it look suspensful and action oriented. It could not be farther from that. It is slow moving and when you finally figure out the plot disappointing. It is far-fetched but not intented to be fantasy...all in all just weird. Will Smith ALWAYS does great work and he didnt fail to deliver on this one either. I was very moved by this movie, it shows true love in its rawest form. This was perhaps the WORST movie I have endured in the last 10 years. Will Smith flits from plot to plot in an absolutely unbelievable (even in a movie) story line. And that is assuming you can even figure out there is a story line holding the whole mess together. As I said to my wife as we were leaving (along with at most 20 other patrons in the theatre) "had this been a rented video at home I would have retired to another room after 15 minutes rather than waste more of my time." Don't waste yours!

The trailer did not do this film justice. It is an incredibly well acted, well directed, and well written movie. The plot unraveled beautifully keeping me entertained and on the edge of my seat the whole time.
Will Smith reunites with his Men in Black 2 co-star Rosario Dawson for a gripping tale about a mysterious good samaritan.
Thier performances are exceptional, belivable,and passionate. It was like night and day comparing Rosario's Eagle Eye "acting " to this. It show's you how a skilled director can really contribute to bringing the best out of a star.
Unfortunately, the message of this movie didn't sit well with me in the end. You decide.

Personally, I enjoyed the movie. It is definitely one in which you must trust the writers and patiently wait until the story unfolds. It seems confusing at first, with snippets of material that finally make sense as the story reaches its climax. The writers do tie up the loose ends, and Smith's motivation becomes clear. I think part of the reason some might be turned off is that lack of motivation coming through earlier. However, if one is really paying attention to the foreshadowing, the ending is somewhat predictable. If you are looking for a plot that is laid out step by step, avoid this. It will leave you frustrated unless you are very patient.

This movie is good and the acting is good, but Rosario Dawson is GREAT! Her character is the deepest and best written one in the movie, and she does it incredibly well! Woody Harrelson surprises in the understated, but powerful, nature of his performance. This is also one of the best written movies I've seen in a while.

I thought the movie was a little slow at first but it did get more interesting as it went on. I wasn't sure if I like how sad I felt when looking at Will Smith, you could see that he was in alot of pain but you didn't know for sure why. It all came together at the end and I think every young person should see it so they can see how a bad decision can ruin your life in seconds!
