The Movie must be seperated from the rest of the Trek line, if you don't you will start asking questions. Like why do the always feel they have to reinvent for the new generations? So don't ask. I loved this film with the exception of certain parts and I am not going to go into those either. This reboot of the series is not bad. Chris Pine does not hurt your eyes either.

We enjoyed the movie, plain and simple. Unfortunately we never felt a connection to the characters. There were so many storylines running at the same time that while interesting, they moved quickly and undeveloped in the sense that we never felt a true connection. I like to get lost into a movie, I never did with this one. The acting was superb of course; a top notch cast definitely helped. Location was incredible, although I could never live there, India is beautiful and full of culture. I would definitely see this if I were you and you like movies like this...........not for children, to say the least.

Enjoyed the movie. I can't seem to seperate Kristen Stewart from Twighlight, I kept waiting for vampires to show up. lol! She will probably be typecast into the Bell role forever, to me. Of course for me Chris Hemsworth did it all!

I was diappointed by the stupidity of this movie. I will make no bones about the fact that I am NO Samuel Jackson fan. He alone, having been cast into this series of film ruined it in it's entirety for me. This movie did not deserve the hype it received but that is only my opinion. I just personally believe they could have done a better job.

I like many went into this movie believing it was a prequel to Alien; Ridley Scott says no. I watched an interview the other night and Scott insists he did not do this film as a prequel. I see many direct connections but personally I agree, you cannot view this film as a prequel. If you do it fails miserably. I have not spoken to anyone yet who has said they absolutely love this film, I did not either. There a huge holes left behind with this movie so I am curious to see if they do anything else with this. You need to see this movie for yourself, if this is a genre you are into.

I wish I could soul search like she got to. Everyone should go on a trip like that at some point in their lives. I thought the movies was well done even though people felt it was slow. For me I settled in for the long haul and enjoyed it.

It was entertaining enough to keep us there enjoying it. I felt the acting was weak. Rihanna should stick to singing. The underlying storylines were slightly old and worn out. The CG was very well done.

No Fantasy Adventure Here.

The trailer misrepresents this movie. It is not a fantasy adventure about a boy, this film goes deeper and turns out being about someone else. We liked it but felt jilted by not getting what we thought we were going to see. Still, you should see the film.
