The special effects are amazing and believable. The story is a little bit weak, with some really lame dialogue once in a while, but the rest of the good things in the movie carry it past those weaknesses. It's better to see this one on the big screen so you can better appreciate the action scenes.

This was an entertaining movie. Don't make the mistake of going to see this and expecting another Ironman, which is a much better movie. It is still very good and a lot of fun. The cameos and music from the original tv show were even done well. Marvel's succesful run continues...

This movie had some pretty big shoes to fill - no, not to overpower and out-box-office Bana's Hulk (not that it's a huge task), but to follow-up one of the best Marvel movies to date, IronMan. Not only does Downey's IronMan make a cameo, but it's pretty sad when the audience is not sure which they are happier to see, Iron Man's cameo or the credits.
Maybe that was a little harsh. The movie was entertaining but lacking as far a storyline, character chemistry and overall WOW factor.
I think it was fun - but, just can't compare with Iron Man.

I iked this version over the first as the character (Hulk) was more realistic, less cartoonish and he appeard more human and less wild beast. Also, There was at least one villan in this insallment despite the fact that the plot was put together too quickly and didn't allow for gradual procession. There was enough action to keep my interest and the movie was not too long where I was bored.

I enjoyed this movie for the most part. It was entertaining. It was fun to watch, one of the better summer movies so far. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for young kids, however -- very violent., especially the final fight scene. I took my 7 year old son and his friends and one of the boys was terrified and had to leave the theater.

This is more like it. Marvel seems to have put it's act together with this year's movies (franchises), IRON MAN absolutely rocked, and this follows behind a few steps. This movie also leans heavily towards the dark 70's TV show, and for an X'er like me, that was a PLUS. Many great cameos in characters and storyline. A few minus' were in the rendering of the hulk and abomination CG characters-it took you out of your realm of suspension of disbelief at times, but that's being nit picky. All around enjoyable film.

I came into this movie with low expectations, thinking to myself how could you make another hulk movie when the last one was so S@#!!y? Still with my great like for Edward Norton movies I decided to take a chance, and I would take another chance at it again. I found myself on the edge watching this movie not blinking an eye, scared to miss a scene. The action was great and hulk was actually portrayed as a true hulk. By far the best hulk movie invented could be the number one action hero movie this summer or will it take a back seat next to Iron man and maybe Batman. The Incredible Hulk was a brilliantly made movie due in part to the great performances by Edward Norton and Tim Roth. Norton does not fail to impress. Although I have never seen Roth in a movie besides Reservoir Dogs, where he took on the role as Mr. Pink, it makes me want to see more of his future roles. I would recommend anyone to see this film, not only based on the cast, but also because of the super-fantastic special effects. It will leave a lasting impression on you, GUAR-AN-TEED!

Great backdrops, great action - actors are good and interpret the roles differently from Ang Lee's production. However they created the Hulk really worked well. You will hate William Hurt's character, he does a good villain. Tim Roth is even worse!

This movie gave a nod to the Hulk that I grew up with. Edward Norton was as quiet and unassuming as Bill Bixby giving the character heart. I was on the edge of my seat and I had to close my eyes!
That said, maybe I was one of the few who didn't mind the first Hulk. Though seeing Lou Farrigno made me clap my hands and I am happy to have this dvd on my shelf
Now lets see an Ironman/Hulk S.H.E.I.L.D. team!

This version was better than the first only in that it has a better script, a better cast, better acting, and better directing than the first one. It's to be expected that the CGI would be better, but it was surprising how much better the entire production was. I'd heard stories about how the movie studios had hurt the production of some of the Marvel movies in the past, but wasn't sure how credible these were. If Incredible Hulk and Iron Man are any indication, Marvel's self-produced movies are going to be ones I enjoy the most.

My grandson wanted to see this film and so I took him. He enjoyed it. I didn't! I don't recall there being an "Abomination" character in the original tv show. And, certainly the violence wasn't anywhere near the level that it was in the movie. I'm certain that the movie will be hit because we live in a violent culture that thirsts for action; the bloodier the better. Too bad. I liked "the Hulk"....the TV version. This one was a bit much for me.

While more fun to watch than the last Hulk movie, this one was still a little bit of a let down. The story this time around was better in the sense that included more action, but it felt like they sacrificed some of that story for the sake making this a more commercial film. My wife, 11 years old grandson & I enjoyed this version much more than the previous. The action was dizzying at times, as was some of the cinematography in the beginning in the Brazilian village. The plot is good and the acting is well done. The only downside - we all experienced the volume to be too loud to enjoy the film fully. Overall a fine job.

I thought the movie was very good and better than the first. Most sequels always seem to fall short. There was a lot of action and the visual effects and sound were very well done. Like one reviewer mentioned, Stark showing up at the end was a very good touch. Makes you wonder what they have coming to the big screen in the near future.

I tell you people I had my doubts about this movie, from the Trailers it didn't look that good, but I like to give things a chance, so i went to see it and I'm glad I did, this HULK seemed to have a little more personality then the others, the plot to the movie was I believe was much better then the other. This was a good movie. I like the action and violence even though I'm only 9 years old. I think this was one of the best PG-13 movies.

I had a feeling that this would be a 5-star just because they wouldn't have an excuse to make another glaring disappointment after Ang Lee's version. First things first, this is head and shoulders above Ang Lee's 2003 utter disaster. People want to see the Green Giant smash things not fight giant poodles or have a stupid fight with his dad (who turns into a freaking cloud for God's sake). I am happy to say that there was none of that. Edward Norton is great as Bruce Banner (reminiscent of Bill Bixby), as is Liv Tyler and William Hurt as Betty Ross and her father. This one doesn't waste time on the origin story and has some of the best action sequences I have ever seen. The Hulk looks cooler this time around, too. More like a linebacker than a defensive lineman as he was in 2003. You must see this if you haven't already! Heck, see it twice or thrice. Ang Lee, eat your heart out.

i love this movie. the story was great, the action was dead on, not over powering; and it payed respect to the original tv show. can't wait to see the second installment.
