FTW! People gave this movie a 4 out of 5 stars. What a bunch of liars. This movie deserved not only a 5 out of 5 stars, but it exceeded my expectations. After being disenchanted with Watchmen, I tried not to get too excited about Wolverine because I did not want to be disappointed. I was not disappointed. ^_^
The special effects were awesome, the plot was beautifully done, and the cast made the movie even more enjoyable. Oh and as a amateur poker player, it was awesome to see Daniel Negreanu for a short period. Totally awesome.
I would recommend this movie to just about anybody!
Daniel Craig was magnificent as James Bond as he was in Casino Royale. However, the plot as a continuance from CR was flat and while you could follow it, the villains are not as horrible as they are made out to be. The complexity of the story line basically made every one else a victim of circumstances
Arterton's involvement in the cast of QoS was pointless. If she was there to be eye candy, that is as far as it went because in the end she wound up a human black licorice.
Kurylenko's performance was lukewarm and her character's dilemma/past history, Camille, was the typical background that is "supposed" to make the audience feel sorry for her. Cliches went out a long time ago.
Brought me to tears several times throughout. The small few words from the Duke about what a thing it is to be free was understandable and subtly presented his side of things.
...because this movie was disgustingly lame. It was full of cliches that you could almost guarantee who was going to die or not, how it would end, and the usual garbage that goes along with a movie an idiot would think is Oscar worthy. I wanted to get up and leave right in the middle of the movie.
Luke Ford as Rick's son, Alex was pathetic and the only time I could tolerate him was when he wore sunglasses because that was the only time he looked good.
Maria Bello flopped as well and the best thing she did throughout the movie was kept her mouth shut. She is not Evy, she is a chick trying to be Evy. I think the movie would have been better off if they just killed Evy off off-screen instead of placing that dolt in the place of Rachel Weisz.
I had hoped that if I didn't like the movie that I would at least like the bad guy, but I didn't even get that satisfaction. I love Jet Li in many of his movies, but he totally flopped in this one and I definitely feel that he could have wasted his time on something more better than this movie, like taking his dog out for a walk.
What makes this movie so bad is that it made the second movie look good and that movie made me want to throw up.
The Incredible Hulk was a brilliantly made movie due in part to the great performances by Edward Norton and Tim Roth. Norton does not fail to impress. Although I have never seen Roth in a movie besides Reservoir Dogs, where he took on the role as Mr. Pink, it makes me want to see more of his future roles. I would recommend anyone to see this film, not only based on the cast, but also because of the super-fantastic special effects. It will leave a lasting impression on you, GUAR-AN-TEED!
