I went into the theater not expecting much of this movie... yes, it is gore-filled - but it is HILARIOUS. There were some justs that only me and my friends got, but overall I'd really see this movie again.
I recommend this movie to anyone that is looking for a funny movie, as long as you are not too creeped out by the gore and the zombies (and the clowns... eek!).
I was really excited to see this movie, alot of the scenes from the trailer weren't even in the movie. The editing was horrible and this really should have been released on the Family Channel for the 30 days of Halloween or something like that.
I want to seen more of the story though, hope they make another one, even if it's straight to DVD.
Maybe they were going for suspense during the slow and boring parts of the movie, but there were a few good scares.
The acting is very good - hard not to tell that it wasn't their real reactions. The ending was a little predictable though, wish they would have play it out a little differently.
I enjoyed both DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons. I don't think that if you didn't care for this DaVinci, that you'll enjoy this... but if you are a fan already, go ahead and see this. I don't think that this really fills the shoes of a typical summer blockbuster, it probably would have done better at the box office if release earlier this year.
I love Ewan McGregor in this movie, well, I love him in every movie, but he makes the movie far more enjoyable by being in it.
I saw Up this weekend, the placed was PACKED, but the 3D still rocked.
The movie was absolutely great, I'm really grateful that I had my huge 3D glasses to cover up my huge crocodile tears! My little brother didn't even shred a tear during the emotional parts, only said that it was the best Pixar yet and that it was really deep.
The voice acting was great, the art was awesome and they really owe some money to Kirk Douglas, because the villain of the movie looks JUST like him.
Overall, take everyone you know to see this movie ! spend the few dollars more for the 3D, it's worth it.
I enjoyed the movie - I really love a good superhero movie. I have to detach my love and knowledge of the comic books to enjoy ANY of the x-men movies, since they messed up alot of story lines from the get go.
The acting was pretty good but the story could have been better.
All in all, I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoyed the other x-men movies.
This movie was better than I expected, but, granted, my expectations were very low.
For those of you how threw their money away on seeing Dragon Wars in the theater - fear not - this is at least entertaining. I've never seen, read or played anything Dragonball related before, so I thought that this was a pretty good summary of the story, plot and adventures that the characters went through.
This isn't going to when any oscars, razzies sure, but anyone who expects differently going into the theater for this movie is silly.
It's a fun little piece of fluff, but I'd wait for the DVd.
