"The Incredible Hulk" is everything the first film, Ang Lee's "Hulk" was not. It's thrilling where the other was spiritual. It's funny where the other was morose. And its action-packed where the other was unendingly long.
Although one can appreciate the other film, "The Incredible Hulk" gives audiences exactly what they've been waiting for in a Hulk movie. When the Hulk gives his guttural scream "HULK SMASH!" the audience is right there with him. Thankfully in this film, the Hulk even knows what we came to see.

They did a great job revamping this movie franchise. They show the Hulks various personality. Plenty of action. Plenty of classic lines brought back. It has its cool share of easter eggs from celebrity camos to hidden things in the backround, and the ending. overall i loved the movie.

I am relieved that this time they did better then on their 1st try. The first movie sucked for the fact that they went too in depth on explaining the hulk and that he was basically Godlike and invincible when in form. The new one didn't explain anything and just went strait to action pretty much. I think the grphics are better in this movie and the story, all though cliche, fits. Not to forget the all too clever apperances of The Original Hulk and the director. Much better then the first.

I loved the movie...like the title of this review if your an Incredible Hulk fan I think you will get all you ask for in this adaptation of the green smashing monster we all love. The action is non stop and the actors are on point. Ed Norton was the perfect pick for this role. Marvel keep doing what you guys are doing because this is what a super hero movie is suppose to be.

This movie has a wholeness the leaves it open for more. Ed Norton played extremely well as Bruce Banner. Full of emotion! Tim Roth did excellent in his part. The CGI was great, not tacky at all. You get more emotion out of the Hulk this time and it's just wonderful! I just can't wait till the Avengers now!!

I never wasted my time to see the first Hulk movie, as I was told it was sub-par. Once I heard that Edward Norton had replaced Eric Bana, I thought I would give it a chance. It was definitely worth it, and I would not be opposed to watching this movie a second time! This movie had the funny quips and the action sequences and it did not lose my attention, which was rather impressive since I was dead tired at the midnight show!
In short, go see it!

Marvel has shown over the course of these last few years that they're taking charge of their own films, and they've been becoming better and better. The Incredible Hulk has risen way above the previous movie and has stayed pretty darn close to the comic book. I'm enjoying the way the movies are starting to tie together, and this movie definitely is worth seeing again. I would strongly recommend seeing it if you are a fan of the comics.

I thought this movie was so bad,people we're talking about it like oh my gosh i can't wait to see that,it's going to be so good.I'm like okay it can't be that bad but BOY was I wrong it was bad! Ed Norton is the MAN!! I cannot lie, I had huge expectations for this movie (after the mess the first movie was) and I have to tell you I was not disappointed. This movie delivers the goods and more. I have never expected to experience one of the best fight scenes I have ever seen, what a finale. One word of advice, don’t take children under 10 because this could be very intense, in a good way. YOU HAVE TO GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!

There are a few slow parts, but nothing worth complaining about. Edward Norton does a great job playing the shy, quiet, unassuming Bruce Banner. Tim Roth as Blonsky really makes you hate him. This Hulk's powers seem more believable and realistic (under the circumstances), except for one at the very end. I'd recommend anyone to go see it. Good use of 2 hours. And well worth me being a walking zombie the next day! :)

At first I was skeptical about this movie...I couldn't understand why they were making a remake of the Hulk when they had just came out with one 5 years ago. Yet a friend of mine dragged me to the first showing at a local theater. I found the plot and action to be a lot better then the one made in 2003. The Hulk looks less like a CGI animation and more like a large green human. This gets a Two Thumbs Up!

Finally after the last fiasco we get a real Hulk movie. The story was great,the action was awesome,and the acting was top notch. The fight scenes were everything a hardcore Hulk fan,or a new fan could ever ask for. The best part is no radioactive dogs. The final battle scene is just rediculous. To finally see The Hulk battle The Abomination was just awesome. I am about to go see this movie again in a few hours. Totally worth seeing multiple times. Thank You Marvel for doing the big guy right.

I am glad I did not listen to any of the reviews because this movie was wonderful. A great Marvel creation and I hope they make more. My kids want to see it again , and we will!

Lean, Trim, a little rough around the edges but definitely one tightly packaged movie, the Incredible Hulk adds one more Movie Myth to the Marvel Universe, that's been translated more or less faithfully from the books.
I just can't wait to see the rest of the movie.
According to recent reports, a full 70 minutes of extra footage will be on the DvD and Blu ray. (I really hope they put it all on the DvD, cuz I'm not buying another machine just to see that!)
Louis Letterier, the young, French director of edge of your seat indie action films like the Transporter and Unleashed may not be the obvious choice to direct this "Requel" to Ang Lee's ponderous, overly cerebral foray into Hulk's oedipal origins - but he does a fine job, spinning the Hulk a yarn less about Hulk/'s psychology, and much, much more about what Hulk is CAPABLE of. Call me a perfectionist, but I wish I could've seen a bit more of what Ed Norton was capable of. Alas, what we do know is that a good sum of those 70 minutes included exposition about Bruce Banner. And that, perhaps, in their bid to distance themselves from Ang Lee's 2003 film, they developed a phobia of Bruce's character itself. But why, I ask, why? I'll tell you why. One of the most riveting scenes - that would have established concretely the relationship between Bruce's Jeckyl and Hulk's Mr. Hyde was cut. And this film could have GREATLY benefited from it. It was cut because it was deemed controversial- not by test audiences or civic groups - but by the production company themselves. Marvel decided an establishing scene, in which Bruce Banner tries to rid himself of his curse by trekking to the Arctic to attempt to kill himself, with a gun- only to be Saved by the Beast Within, before the bullet pierced his skin - was not necessary. While I understand their concerns - with kids buying Hulk Hands left and right and parents unsure whether to take their kids to this film, I feel they took a gamble at the cost of some needed clarity, in what otherwise is a rather excellent film. I absolutely LOVE the opening sections that take place in Brazil. HOWEVER, if we're going to have about 20 minutes of exposition explaining where Dr. Banner lives, what he does with his time, and where he works - I can't help but think somewhere in those 70 minutes (Letterier confirmed in an interview that they'd cut action, drama, scenery - everything!) there might have been something which would have told us more about Banner himself - his motivations, his relationship to his Jade-skinned alter ego, etc. As it is, we get nearly two hours of Hulk Smash tentpoles, filled out with a whole lot of "Banner sulk." There are points of humor spread across the film - but certainly don't go in expecting Iron Man, let alone Spider man level chuckles. I'd say what ended up on screen can best be described as "HULK KONG", with a "Bruce Bourne" exposition in the beginning, and "Bruce & Betty" on an almost X-files like mission to meet with "Mr. Blue" who provides much needed comic relief, and altogether these elements sets things up nicely for a possible sequel. One side note: I thought Louis was a frenchman! Even HE should know the cardinal rule of daylight photography, that you don't do an important scene in broad, direct daylight! Picture the college campus showdown scene, if it took place at Sundown, and you'll get what I mean. Heck! It would've played like a "showdown at Sunset" btw. two of the main characters! And that would've been a nice visual means of establishing their relationship, a little more than - "General Hunt, Hulk Fight Back." Overall, the Incredible Hulk falls short of it's namesake hyperbolic adjective. It's last half hour is amazing, the chase sequences are fantastic, but overall, the Incredible Hulk is "Very good". I just can't wait for that DVD.

Since this is what they are calling a "reboot" of the Hulk origin movie from a couple of years ago, I would say they improved the plot and storyline a lot. Edward Norton was a convincing Bruce Banner but Liv Tyler was a bit stale in the Betsy Ross role, could have used more than the blank stare and doe-eye look . William Hurt as General Ross was a little on the boring side, needed a little more feeling in his acting and role, his love for his daughter when he needed to show it was rather flat. The animation was better and the overall size was more believable. It definitely had better action and more of it throughout, while the intro scene leading up to the first appearance was still a little long in tooth, but far better than the first one. Overall, great movie.

The movie was not a continuation of the original. They had their own way of explaining the cause of the gamma ray exposure, or I should say of not explaining it. The movie was fine in it's own right except the editing. Either someone spliced our film or someone at the studio made a huge mistake. About half way through some one took out about 20 min's of the film and spliced it back in near the end in the middle of the fight scene. Very annoying to say the least, kind of ruined the movie for me. Not sure if it is nationwide but if it is someone's getting FIRED!!!!!!!

You will want to HULK out on your way back to your car from the theatre... YES it's that good! I found myself with a snarling expression on my face during the fight scenes. It will feel like you want to jump in and fight too. HAHAHA. Very well done comic to film translation.
You will want more HULK!... And YES he is the strongest there is!

Everything that Lee's Hulk lacked, TIH makes up for. The CGI was a little shoddy in places, but, overall, leaps & bounds ahead of Lee's Hulk.
Tim Roth turned a great performance.

This Hulk puts all prior Hulks to shame. The directors and CGA artists did not disappoint us on this one. Ed Norton has the perfect quiet scientist demeanor which we all know stands well against his alter ego. Tim Roth is a perfect antithesis together with the ultimate evil mastermind William Hurt. Even barring character identification the action scenes are awesome, and worth the twelve bucks I paid. If you are a Hulk fan from the late 70's early 80's TV show you will not be disappointed.

Awesome writing for this movie, it stayed true to The Incredible Hulk I read when I was younger. Back then, when I was reading the comics, my imagination ran pretty wild. But even I did not imagine it as well as the developers, screen writers and director did in this movie!
This is definitely a MUST SEE movie for the big screen!
