Nothing Short of Spectacular

This was probably the best movie I have ever seen. If the concept of a silent movie/black and white movie pushes you away...DON'T! It has many twists it will break your heart and repair it in moments after. The music score is fantastic in holding the moment. There is a scene stealing dog, who will easily put a smile on your face. You will fall in love with the beautiful "Peppy Miller", woo'd by "George Valentin". It's about time something original hits theatres. I'm tired of the same Transformers...cookie cutter romance comedies. This movie is one of a kind. Stop wasting time and see it.

D.A.R.E.

The main characters feel real and are memorable, even the supporting cast-the sisters and training-partners. Bale does a great job in each of his scenes. It's bringing the notch up for the current "boxing-underdog" movies. It was even funny at times other just hard to watch the character go off the deep end with self mutilation and drug abuse. Good movie, give it a watch,

Tron doesn't dissapoint

I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie. It was visually stunning and full of suspense, action and drama. I felt that it was just as inspiring as the first movie. Go see for yourself.

Not So Fast

I wont give you a review about how the plot isn't very complicated...it is after all an "action-movie". I'll keep this short, the car is cool, the rock has the bad-ass feel that gets old real fast. For a movie called "Faster", the action scenes sure move real slow at times...basically...rent it when you have ZERO THINGS better to do.

Pinky and the Brain

Its story line and plot seem overly familiar, I’ve seen dozens of movies like this. It's the old pinky and the brain, Russian spy plot taking over the world and failing. If you've seen enemy of the state, 007's, a Bourne flick, then I would skip this...its nothing you haven’t seen. It just really never felt believable and the twists just weren't surprising.

Tons of Fun

I really enjoyed the movie while it is not quite "Pixar material" it was very fun to watch. The minions (although we can't understand them) are extremely relatable. Overall, this was a well-done movie with excellent graphics mixed with a good amount of humor and creativity.

Summer Cliches 101

First off, I think this movie had potential...well maybe not. It seems to me this movie was a product of too many credited writers throwing in the typical summer blockbuster lines. In turn it led to a movie that was very predictable. The graphics were pretty stunning. Some characters left flawed, ie: witch girl, seems like those few scenes were an after thought as well as a few short-lived characters. This flik tries hard to be funny but the timing just seemed off. There was also a love story tied in..well almost tied in. It seemed the focus on both the love and magic just didn't blend well.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Blood Got Some Oxygen

David Slade did a good job on this film, it had it's cheesy moments...well quite a few actually, but it felt a lot fresher than the previous installment. He captured some really great scenic shots, gave you a real sense of the environment the story takes place in. This film was a step in the right direction. Now if only we can get the actors to show some more emotion. cough. cough. Kristen Stewart.

Adventure Packed

I thought it was a great movie, looking forward to more. My friend and I came to the conclusion, it has the adventure of the Indiana Jones saga and the mystique and romance allure of Aladdin all-in-one. Good for families, friends, couples...it will keep a smile on your face the whole time.
