I can't believe I'm saying this about a Michael Bay movie but, there was too much exposition, too much explanation, and not enough blowing stuff up. Seriously, its Transformers. We expect battle after battle but it just took so long to get started.
But once it did it was epic. Wait until you see what they did to Chicago.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

You'll get it when you see the movie. Anyway, it was enjoyable but had lots of resemblence to My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006). It just seemed like there wasn't enough story in the original concept so they bolted on at the mid point some additional story elements.
Too bad, had a great concept. What was there was executed well, it just could have been so much more.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This should have been the first movie. In fact they even pretend that the first movie never happened. Thank god. It's a great story, great effects, and all around great movie. They GOT the character right.
