cute movie, took my 13 year old, she liked it, no sex and no violence---unless you count the hoards of women rushing for the designer sale and fighting over Gucci. But still very good...lady in the green scarf has a lesson to learn and to give...
I loved it... It was the quintessential Bond Movie: dry martini, bond girl, wrecked piece of automotive art (the DB8), fist fight, explosions, espionage, deception, revenge, and casual sex with bond girl #2-- all weaved seamlessly in less than 110 minutes of edge of your seat excitement. See it, love it, see it again.
Wow, Will Smith the All American Hero does not disappoint. Will Smith does a great job with Charlize Theron and Jason Batement in this film. The action and direction is great. Again, I took the kids, and we had a blast. While the character development in this film is a little long, the former Fresh Prince is proving to be the Prince of the screen with continuous hit after hit in the blockbuster arena.
This Hulk puts all prior Hulks to shame. The directors and CGA artists did not disappoint us on this one. Ed Norton has the perfect quiet scientist demeanor which we all know stands well against his alter ego. Tim Roth is a perfect antithesis together with the ultimate evil mastermind William Hurt. Even barring character identification the action scenes are awesome, and worth the twelve bucks I paid. If you are a Hulk fan from the late 70's early 80's TV show you will not be disappointed.
I took my 3 daughters (18,13,6) to see this film on premier night. They talked about it for days afterwards. Although none of them knew the history of Indiana and his Temple of Doom or his Last Crusade or the search for the Arc.. they were enthralled as was I. The fab directors and producers did a wonderful job of weaving this story in with the other 3 such that it stands alone and together with first. Naturally because its "Indiana Jones" it's a bit cartoon-ish at points, but we love it for this. A must see.
