"The Incredible Hulk" is everything the first film, Ang Lee's "Hulk" was not. It's thrilling where the other was spiritual. It's funny where the other was morose. And its action-packed where the other was unendingly long.
Although one can appreciate the other film, "The Incredible Hulk" gives audiences exactly what they've been waiting for in a Hulk movie. When the Hulk gives his guttural scream "HULK SMASH!" the audience is right there with him. Thankfully in this film, the Hulk even knows what we came to see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
