Visually stunning and compelling; and obscurely elegant. It was more motion-art then "movie." Add to that Johnny Depp's performance, and the movie was outstanding.
It's not your typical "Disney" film; and I hope parents are aware of that before they drag along the impressionable smaller children.
I don't believe 3D adds that much of an "enhancement" to the entertainment value of this film; unlike AVATAR which was crap without the technology.

The Santikos' website indicated IMAX was assigned seating like when we saw Avatar, but when we arrived late with online purchased tickets, it was open seating & we had to sit too close to the screen. 3D effects are limited when so close. The lenght was too short & the pace was too fast to fit into timeframe, which made character development too narrow. The cast's closeups of facial expressions almost saved this movie, which could have been so much more in every way.

I have always had a love for Lewis Carol's "Alice in Wonderland," and I have seen and read many versions of the movie. I loved the graphics and would recommend everyone see it in IMAX 3D. I very much enjoyed this movie, from start to finish it kept me entertained and involved. The 3D was not "in your face" but was just enough to make the movie come alive without being a distraction. This was my first IMAX-3D experience and I am so glad I chose this movie! I loved it from beginning to end and Tim Burton did a fantastic job with it. I love Alice in Wonderland and as soon as I saw the cast and the trailer for it I just could not wait for it to come out!

I thought Alice in Wonderland was terrific. It kept up a solid pace, the scenery and sets were great and the acting was over the top, which is, in my opinion, exactly how it should have been.
My biggest fear was that Alice would become a sort of Narnia. The inhabitants of Wonderland seeking a champion was something I really dreaded. I hate seeing people with absolutely no weapons experience or training swing away with a sword. While Alice clearly had no weapon experience, the movie never tries to say that she does. In fact, the Hatter tells her the sword knows where it wants to go. “Just hold on.” Works for me!
I enjoyed the film from beginning to end, absolutely felt I got my money’s worth.

We went in a group to the 1am showing at the IMAX. It was incredible! Awesome graphics and likeable characters. I think its the best version of Alice In Wonderland yet! First time in IMAX, 1st time 3D, and brought my 7yr old daugter. She loved it, but found it a little confusing. Some themes too much for her to get so quickly. We love Burton, and this was a good example of his design. Some great scenes for IMAX 3D, as though this style of viewing was designed for Burton films. Now wishing some more Burton classics were in same format - Scissorhands or Beetlejuice, anyone? Will definitely come back for more IMAX 3D, and can't wait for this one to come out on video to watch at home 50 times.

I thought the movie was amazing, and much more like the books than the Disney cartoon version. The characters interacted beautifully, and the movie flowed well. The nearly 2 hours passed quickly, and even my kids didn't have time to complain about sitting too long. I plan on seeing it again without them soon!

Really It was a poem. I did not expect less from this movie. Johnny Depp and Tim Burton together ...GENIOUS !!! plus all the stars really the best of the best. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is 1865 by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson and then it came to America as Alice in Woderland ini 1951 Walt Disney Animated Classic series and it was refer as One of the finest work in Disney studio history. 2010 Alice in Wonderland It's shorter, it's funnier, and it's infinitely trippier.

we enjoyed the movie, however i would have skipped the IMAX 3D experience it was not worth the extra $4 per ticket. My 5 year old loves 3D movies and she kept asking when things were going to come out so she could touch them. The movie lacked the 3D element that we paid extra for. Otherwise the movie was enjoyable. it wasn"t the best movie we had seen but it wasn't the worst

I thought that it being directed by Tim Burton that it would be a little more trippy but it wasn't! You could definitly take a child to see this movie! The 3D was used nicely and the storyline was really unique! Great job to Johnny Depp and Helen!!
