One fun, fun ride!

I thought Alice in Wonderland was terrific. It kept up a solid pace, the scenery and sets were great and the acting was over the top, which is, in my opinion, exactly how it should have been.
My biggest fear was that Alice would become a sort of Narnia. The inhabitants of Wonderland seeking a champion was something I really dreaded. I hate seeing people with absolutely no weapons experience or training swing away with a sword. While Alice clearly had no weapon experience, the movie never tries to say that she does. In fact, the Hatter tells her the sword knows where it wants to go. “Just hold on.” Works for me!
I enjoyed the film from beginning to end, absolutely felt I got my money’s worth.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
