Awesome Family Movie

I went with my 10 year old, her friend, my twin sister (we're 43) and my mom. We all enjoyed The Muppets. It brought back wonderful memories of their variety show for the older ones, and the younger ones got the chance to see The Muppets in a new light (besides the Sesame Street crowd). Definitely two thumbs up!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Green with Envy?

I enjoyed the movie and so did my entourage, aged 10 years up to 43 years. The special effects were good, and at this point and time I can't imagine not having seen it in 3D. As for the other reviewers who stated the plot was too simplistic, wake up and see the glow! This is a family movie based on a comic book. How intricate do you expect the plot to be? I thought it was true to the comic as well as the character as created for television cartoons.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

As a kid born in the 60's I grew up watching the campy styles of Batman, The Green Hornet, The Super Friends, etc. This movie reminded me of those types of shows, except the "bams" and "zaps" were replaced with awesome special effects and kick butt fight scenes. True, the language was a little coarse, but my kids (14 year old boy and 9 year old girl) loved it! So did my mom, and she's over 70 years old. I hope there's a sequel!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not a "girly" movie

The movie was well written and colorful (visually and characters). I get more and more impressed everytime I see a Disney animated movie, because they really put forth an effort to attract all family members. Our group ranged from a 9 year old girl (tomboy), to a 27 year old man, to a 71 year old grandma (and a few ages in between). We all thought the movie was fabulous!

I can't help but think everytime I see a Harry Potter movie that "I imagined it exactly that way when I read the book". This time was no exception. We went to a midnight IMAX showing, and once the movie started, all 5 of us were totally taken in (even my 9 year old didn't fall asleep). It was well worth the money and the time!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought the movie was amazing, and much more like the books than the Disney cartoon version. The characters interacted beautifully, and the movie flowed well. The nearly 2 hours passed quickly, and even my kids didn't have time to complain about sitting too long. I plan on seeing it again without them soon!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was a great movie. It kept me and my kids on the edge of our seats the entire time! I would highly recommend that anyone who has the chance to see it in IMAX spend the extra money and do so. They won't be disappointed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My 12 year old son and I went to see this one together. I've been a fan of the manga and anime since 1996, so naturally my son has been exposed to Dragonball and most other "suitable" manga since birth. The movie was a bit disappointing, trying to fit too much plot into less than 2 hours. It was ok, but I'm glad we went to a matinee and didn't pay full price.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The songs and storyline were what my friend (who only has a son) and my daughter liked best. My friend was as excited to see it as my daughter was, and they both raved about the movie when they got out.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
