Kick-ass was amazing, and I'm not usually even a fan of super hero movies. It did it perfectly, and none of the characters had any super powers. All of the characters were great, there were great, the action sequences were amazing, and it had some great humor throughout.

As a film major, this movie is absolutely stunning. The acting is powerful, the script is hilarious, and even the transitioning of real action to its comic book nature was done flawlessly. It /did/ start out a little slow, but it really picked up and proved to be quite the emotionally moving movie. I highly recommend this for anyone, even if you don't like action or superhero movies.

In American cinema there is rarely a movie that will impact you. There is rarely a movie that you will instantly decideto see again. And there is most definitely not a film lately as good as this. It Kicked this decade of American films Asses. It marvelousley combines Dark realism and absolutely absurd situations with over-the-top violance and beautiful drama. Kick-Ass is a gory, funny, adult superhero movie. I'm sure they cut out just enough to give it it's hard R-rating. But it's a fantastic deconstruction of the superhero genre, giving us a realistic look at what a world with superheroes could look like. Hint: not a pretty place. People get stabbed, shot, hit by cars, blown up, crushed, burned... plus the character Hit Girl (who steals the show!) cusses so much it would make a sailor blush. But Kick-Ass is a brilliant movie, almost in a Tarantino style, but will kids attempting to be superheroes. With brilliant performances by the entire cast, and with Cage in his greatest performance in years, this is one superhero movie where, if you have a strong stomach, you definitely DO NOT want to miss.

This film is at times outrageous and pushes the boundaries of mainstream Hollywood works in terms of casting and performance. The story starts out slow in the movie, but picks up and becomes quite impressive. Fantastic performances and production complement the story well and Hit-Girl steals the show. Highly recommend.

Come on! Is this what we as a society like to see? Extreme killing & graphic violence? I knew going into it that it would be intense due to the nature of the Comic Books, but man, I guess I was not ready for this. This movie shocks you. While watching this move i picked up on more then just action. I saw a few mixed messeges hidden in there. The bigest was the relationship between BD & HG. they jus chose to ignore the chaos they were causeing , and treated it as normal life. Its odd how ppl can adjust to wots around them and make it "normal".

this movie was incredible! despite having read the comic book, it still managed to pull some surprises out and completely keep me glued to my seat. the story lost some of the realism the comic brings but its hilarious and any comic book nerd will love this movie!!!

I enjoyed the action in the movie. It was fast paced, vivid detail and totally unbelievable. The movie should have been called Hit Girl since she was the star in my opinion. The storyline seemed a little confusing but overall, it will be a movie for your home collection.

Kick Ass is a pretty cool movie that is funny, has cool action sequences and has a pretty decent moral to it. The only problem I had with the movie is that at times it is very realistic and other times its very cartoonish. But aside from that it is an interesting look at being a super hero.
