Adrien Brody creates a real action-hero for this generation. I never thought I would be cheering for the guy from THE PIANIST to beat a Predator, but there I was. PREDATORS creates an exotic new world and the action and pace are nicely executed. Very curious to see where they would take the sequel. Welcome Back Predators.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Going into it, I went expecting the worst based on word of mouth. I left satisfied and would recommend. The movie does make you laugh and has some great sight gags. At the end, MacGruber was a funny action comedy that throws all the punches!

Come on! Is this what we as a society like to see? Extreme killing & graphic violence? I knew going into it that it would be intense due to the nature of the Comic Books, but man, I guess I was not ready for this. This movie shocks you. If you want to get shocked, go see Kick-Ass (comic book version is better though).
This is the first movie where I can say Channing Tatum did not annoy me. As for the movie itself? It's a mix of "The Notebook" with a splash of "Hurtlocker" and a drop of "Rainman". This Nicholas Sparks guy needs to stop focusing on the same love story forumula (spoilers ahead): Young Boy lives with his father, meets a rich girl, falls in love, writes letters, rich girl moves on, young boy becomes more of a man and returns home, rich girl's feelings never went away, blah blah blah. Through out all of this he throws in another medical/psychological case. Eh, this movie is ok.
2010 is a mere 3 weeks old, but the most exciting movie of 2010 so far is LEGION. Paul Bettany is an excellent Archangel Michael and the whole movie is well paced and nicely directed! A great ride!
I'm afraid that after all is said and done, Indian Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be remembered as the movie that had Shia LeBeouf swinging from vine to vine with monkeys. The newest Indiana Jones flick is worth seeing, but I just don't know if it was really necessary.
