Definitely Not For Children

Kick-Ass is a gory, funny, adult superhero movie. I'm sure they cut out just enough to give it it's hard R-rating. But it's a fantastic deconstruction of the superhero genre, giving us a realistic look at what a world with superheroes could look like. Hint: not a pretty place.
People get stabbed, shot, hit by cars, blown up, crushed, burned... plus the character Hit Girl (who steals the show!) cusses so much it would make a sailor blush.
But Kick-Ass is a brilliant movie, almost in a Tarantino style, but will kids attempting to be superheroes. With brilliant performances by the entire cast, and with Cage in his greatest performance in years, this is one superhero movie where, if you have a strong stomach, you definitely DO NOT want to miss.
