I'm not a Tom Cruise or Cameron Diaz fan, but this movie makes me want to write them thank you notes. Not only was it fast paced, sexy, funny and thriling, but it was all done with a PG-13 rating. I'm so grateful to them for showing Hollywoood how it's done. Standing ovation.

Neither is this a laugh out your a*s type comedy, nor is this a 007 type spy thriller. Diaz sleeps through most of the movie and Cruise transports her (impossibly). Superman would be ashamed by the way Cruise dodges bullets. You don't need to wear your underwear on top of your pants to do that, ah? Cruise walks into the home of one of the world's most notorious arms dealer as he would do in the Central Park. Last but not the least-a perpetual energy battery invented by a High school student? Give me a break, will ya?

It's hard to combine action and comedy but this one actually pulls it off. Tom Cruise delivers the action scenes with his charming smile and some great one-liners. It was an easy going action film that I liked and of course my husband doesn't seem to mind watching Cameron Diaz for a couple of hours :-)

Wonderful blend of action, comedy and light romance. Tom Cruise takes his "Mission: Impossible" spy to a comedic level without being silly. To all of those people who saw the star duo for this movie and thought, "How the hell is this going to work?", I think the answer has to be quite well.
Tom Cruise is back to his larger than life, do no wrong, Mission: Impossible, secret agent type role he can thrive in. He's incredibly crafty in action and dialogue.
Cameron Diaz plays an innocent blonde role made for her perfectly. She balances the part of damsel in distress and comic relief brilliantly.
Overall the star power and stunt sequences in this make a decent script shine. This is a really fun movie with action and comedy to satisfy a broad selection of movie goers.

We see Tom Cruise at his best. He is a little crazy in this movie so it's hard to tell whether it's good acting or Cruise being himself. Either way, he's quite funny in this action-packed adventure. He delivers his lines perfectly as does his counterpart Cameron Diaz.. I saw this with my husband and we both "laughed out loud" as did the rest of the audience. It's something light. There's not too much too think about except the "Day" in the title. But it's not a movie that's meant to leave you thinking so...who cares?

I think that Tom Cruise can only act as well as the part is written for him. The charactor was well developed and Cameron Diaz was great. I did notice that both looked a litte "aged" but took nothing away from the movie.

This movie is a great combination of humor and action, with a small dose of quiet "romance" thrown in. Not a lot of vulgarity or sex was very refreshing and the action/humor worked well. Cruise and Diaz work well together in this movie and I have recommended it already to my friends.
