I really enjoyed this movie. Just a down to earth, very realistic story of human interaction. Laugh out loud funny in many spots. Some of the supporting actors were really great in this too - which added to the fun. Another movie that proves you shouldn't totally trust "professional" critics who are panning this movie. Very pleasant little summer movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

but could have been great. Missed the mark by just a little on being a great film. Several scenes were hysterical, but they missed the opportunity to have one more really funny scene. It would have been perfect then. I agree it is similar to The Hangover, but for women. The Meagan character by far and away steals this movie. She is a hoot! I would have loved to see a bachelorette party scene though - disappointed about that. It was weird because the trailers on TV and the movie were different in several scenes. I guess they edited it a little more before the final cut. Unfortunately, I was looking forward to some of the scenes from the trailer and they were missing. And...this movie just screamed for bloopers at the end of the movie. Really wished they would have shown us some. But, overall, some good laughs.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Surprisingly cute little movie. Actually had some great undertones for girls to see as well about not being "used" by guys, and not making decisions on your future based on one guy, etc. I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The Show Must Go On!

You should see this film based on the history of the 1930's, the costumes and sets alone. It's SO different from anything that's been put out lately. So refreshing. But then, you get the double pleasure of the immense talent of Tai the elephant and Christoph Waltz as August. Rob Pattinson should finally get the respect he deserves (after not receiving it from Remember Me), but the "fashionable" thing to do right now by "professional" critics is to bash him. He did an amazing job in this film and deserves accolades for his performance. Reese left me slightly confused. I don't know if it was her interpretation of Marlena that I just didn't get or what. She seemed somewhat uptight and closed off to me. Could have been her interpretation of her character though...who knows. I do recommend reading the book AFTER seeing the movie, as it goes into the depths of the friendships more, which I think is important. But, this movie stands alone as well. I will need to watch it again because I kept comparing it to the book the first time. But, my Mother has not read the book and she loved this movie. DON'T listen to the critics. Please have a mind of your own and go see this movie!!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Scarred for life!

I'm not sure how to even describe what I just went and watched. I'm still a little speechless actually. The commercials for this movie do not even do it justice. This movie is crude, rude, vulgar - and absolutely hysterical!!! I mean, seriously, I'm 42 years old and I've never seen and heard some of the things in this movie. Just laugh out loud funny stuff. The only thing that ruined it for me was the fact that two seperate families came in with the YOUNG KIDS!!! 10-13 years old or so. I couldn't enjoy some of the movie because I was so disturbed by the fact that these kids were watching it too. Cannot believe the parents did not leave half way through this movie. Very upsetting to me. DO NOT TAKE CHILDREN TO THIS MOVIE PEOPLE!!! I would let my 10 year old watch The Hangover 10 times in a row before I'd let him see this movie - seriously. Totally unexpected and totally hysterical movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Wow....what a stinker. Should have just flushed money down the toilet. Everything was a mess from the plot-line, to the characters to the script. People just don't talk and behave like this. Awkward.....that's the main word that kept coming to me throughout this trainwreck. Just.....awkward. Can't believe this big-budget group of actors all fell for this crap. Can't believe any of us did either. UGH!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. Went in thinking the movie trailer would be the "meat and potatoes" of the movies - but, boy was I wrong. This movie takes you through every emotion, in a good way. Just a really enjoyable movie overall. Josh Duhamel really surprised me with his acting - he did a great job. And, Heigl was beautiful as usual, but did a great job as well. Wish Jean Smart had a little bigger role in the movie, she would have been great. SEE THIS MOVIE!

This movie was much better than I thought it would be. The acting is really good all around. I had tears in my eyes while I was laughing at the same time in some scenes. The little boy was really good and I was impressed with Jason Bateman as well. Of course, Jeff Goldblum and Juliette Lewis are hysterical as usual. Anniston even surprised me somewhat. Good movie.

good Summer movie. The characters were believable, although the premise and storyline are of course far fetched. Some of the action was a little too "actiony" even for Tom Cruise. But, overall, it was enjoyable and funny in spots. Pretty good overall.

I recommend a backup plan if you're planning on going to see this movie. This was really one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. The trailer was cute, but those were the best parts of the movie. Extremely unrealistic plotline, bad acting, handicapped dog and Poop are pretty much all this movie is about. This was not a RomCom, this was a RomBomb!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
