I took my 4 year old son and my 5 year old twin nieces to see the movie along with my older sons. Even though we have the movies at home the 3D experience was quite incredible. I thought that the little kids wouldn't stay still for both movies, however to my surprise they enjoyed the movie to the end. I would definitely recommend this movie to both the young and old.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THE MOVIE JUST BECAUSE ITS A KID MOVIE. THE 3D AFFECTS WERE NOT AS GOOD AS WHAT I WOULD OF EXPECTED. THERE WAS NOT A WHOLE LOT OF STUFF THAT JUST JUMPED OUT OF THE SCREEN AT YOU. OVERALL IT WAS OK IM SURE IF YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN THEY WOULD ENJOY THE EXPERINCE...

I had actually decided to see Where the Wild things are when I noticed the limited engagement of Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3D. I loved these movies when they first came out and I wasn't disappointed seeing them again. Disney / Pixar has done an awesome job with the 3D effects. If you liked the originals, you'll love them in 3D! Do Not miss these movies. They are just as funny now as when they first came out. And the Bloopers at the end of the second movie are hysterical.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My 9 year old daughter and I went on a whim. She hadn't really seen them and didn't know much about them. Although we own them on VHS, we no longer own anything to play them on.
We thoroughly enjoyed the 3D experience. It was not as 3D as I think it should have been, but considering it was an older movie updated to 3D, I can let that slide.
This definitely brought back memories for me, I used to live for movie marathon days with matinees and intermissions, and I was happy to share my experiences with my daughter about the good old days.
We had a great time! (except for the lady and her cell phone)

It was a great opportunity to see these films again in all their big-screen glory, and take our daughter to see them who hadn't been born when they came out. Outstanding work on the 3-D, and just as funny and heartwarming as we remember them. A cherished bunch of toy friends. Bravo!

This was a great chance to see the movies with our children. The best memories I had as a child was going to the Disney movies with my parents. So sad everything is released straight to video. Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are both great movies, and I would have taken my children to see them on re-release even without the 3-D. Kids size glasses would have been a good idea, but we would have gone no matter what.

Always loved these films, but after seeing them in 3D I'm convinced that the first Toy Story is, perhaps, The Perfect Movie. Kids love it, adults love it, it contains a full range of emotions, solid character arcs, a gripping score, spotless editing rhythm, tons of in-jokes and easter eggs for repeat viewing... and now its in flawless, effective 3D! If we ever sent one movie into outer space as the pinnacle of film-making, this would be the one.

We're all big fans of the Toy Story movies and it was great to watch them on the big screen with our kids who weren't even born when the movies were originally released. I'm not much of a fan of the scenes in the original Toy Story with Sid Phillips, the toy-tormenting neighbor next store, but otherwise love the movies. I only wish that they'd provide kid-sized 3D glasses so that the kids could enjoy the experience better.

Growing up, I remember going to see the Toy Story movies with my family and how great the movies were. I've watched them over and over again and they've never gotten old. I practically have the first film memorized.
How could these timeless classics possibly get any better? 3-D. Beautiful as the animation originally was, this new treatment lets you see every detail the Pixar animators put into their earliest successes. From the titles on Andy's bookshelf, to the fabric patterns on Woody and his Roundup Gang. Everything just looks bigger and better. Things I'd only just noticed in UP, like the dimensions of the reflections, can be seen here. Definitely worth the price of admission.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My son loved Toy Story when he was a little younger, however he's only 7 now, so Toy Story & Toy Story 2 had all ready been released by the time he was born! We went to an afternoon showing, great because it was mainly parents with their kids. Disney provided Toy Story quizzes before the show & during the intermission (yes, there is a 10 minute intermission!!), & even told you when to put your 3-D glasses on! My 7 year old sat through the whole movie without talking! I loved the 3-D effects, it changed the whole concept!!

Wonderful movies. A friend and I took her seven-year old grandson who wanted to see these movies above all others and was glad he did. 3-D was enjoyable. Child-size glasses would be a great improvement, as these slide around a bit on smaller faces. We all had a great time.

I took my 2 year old to see these movies. She wouldnt wear the glasses so the entire movie was blurry for her but she sat through both movies without acting up. I noticed that during the intermission a lot of parents were leaving with there small children so I would definitley not take a child that has a hard time sitting through one movie. Its a long time for them to sit and they may not make it. As far a the 3D experience these movies were not made to be 3D so it won't wow you but they are really cute movies and my daughter and I had a lot of fun

My almost 4-year-old daughter has been watching these on DVD (she likes Toy Story 2 better than the original), and she sat through the entire double-feature and the intermission without complaint. She really enjoyed seeing it in the theater, and in 3D. It is only around until this Thursday, so get out to see it if you can!

As some have said it was not very 3-D so personally I feel it would have been better to just have them in the movie as a double feature without the 3-D. My daughter (2.5) loves these movies and asks to watch them daily- so she is very familiar with them. She enjoyed it- but she had to watch it blurry because she would not keep glasses on & probably because they were too big for her head. So they need child size glasses for the children 3-D movies. But it was a great 1st movie for my daughter- we all enjoyed it! If someone with small child was on fence about it I would recommend them not to pay all the $$ for the movie theater showing if their child would not wear the glasses.

We all know the movies are great and going to a double feature was fun, however, the 3D is really just high def. I would have rathered just a double feature and saved my 3 bucks per ticket for the non-existent 3rd dimension. I hope they put an end to the 3D business.

I haven't seen these movies since they originally came out and even then I saw them on pan and scan video. (I didn't know any better then. Pan and Scan is wrong! You're cheating yourself.) I thoroughly enjoyed myself in watching the double feature. The ten minute intermission was fun, too. Both films were a reminder of why Pixar flew to the top through their story telling and not some flashy gimmicky FX stuff. The 3D animation itself still stood on it's own as well. If you haven't seen it in a theater, treat yourself and some one else and go see it in 3-D.

Take the whole family & go. Yes, I know you have it on VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray, whatever, go anyway. It's a double feature & it's better on the big screen & well worth the price. It's rare when the whole family can be entertained. I had forgotten how much fun going to the movies can be. Oh, and stay for the credits after the second movie, the bloopers are great!
