If you're expecting to see the full dress rehearsal, you might be dissapointed. What you do see is two hours of rehersals, dailogue, and some production insights. Michael was obviously physically weak, but full of spirit and knew exactly what he was looking for with the production of each song. The real sad part is that had Michael been strong enough to carry on, the concert itself would have been an amazing attack on the senses. Still the King.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

By making them 3D - Disney/Pixar took classic, best in class movies and took them to an unimagined level of fun. BRAVO!
Thankfully saw this as the first movie of a double-feature, or I would have thought I had totally wasted my money in addition to my time. This plot has been done so many times before; and there were not any new twists or creativity. Also, very slow moving. Reminded more of a bad Lifetime TV show.
While there is no doubt that there is plenty of action, the story line and script were lacking in depth. Liam Neeson does a comendable job, but in the end, most of the film was predictable.
