Most movies based on a true-life story are boring. I'm sure they embellished it some. But, it never dragged and didn't just show football. It showed interpersonal relationships. The little boy was fabulous...the next Opie ! He’s a natural and captured the audience. You could hear people laughing or commenting and I missed a few lines it was that good. Sandra was great as always. And, Tim McGraw was amazingly good. I had seen him in a prior movie and he wasn't that good. He was very believable here. And, when singing he always wears a hat and goatee to cover his face. Clean-shaven and no hat shows just how handsome he really is. And, I would have loved to have been Sandra in his arms! Great movie. I will suggest it to friends and family.

This movie appeals to all crowds, from any walk of life, age, race, etc. Truly a feel good, MUST SEE movie. It made me laugh, cry and laugh again. I also want to go out and do good deeds after watching it. Just in time for the holidays.

i went to watch this with my girlfriend last night, and i usually dont like these type of movies, but man this movie made me open my eyes. It has a very strong message. All the characters did a fantastic job. i would definitely buy the DVD when it comes out.

What a refreshing change! Loved everything about the movie, including the snapshots of Michael and his "real" family. We enjoyed it so much and felt so good at the end that we were tempted to stay and watch it again! I've never felt that way after a movie before!

Loved, Loved this movie! Went with my husband, son and his girlfriend. We all agreed it was wonderful. We researched it before we went and weren't sure how it would show on the screen. They are all really amazing people and I wish I had one drop of her guts! If we all had one drop of her guts and trust this world could be so very different!

My husband and enjoyed this movie so much. It was a feel good movie. Tim Mcgraw was great.Sandra was outststanding and Michael played his part very well..It leaves you with the thought of nothing is impossable and there are still good people out there.never never give up no matter how hard things may seem I will recommend this movie for all ages.

A great movie for the whole family. I was very happy to see my 9 and 12 year old daughters enjoy the film as much as I did. My 9-year-old called it "emotional", which is pretty cool. Sandra Bullock provided a great performance.

I thought that this movie was one of the best movies I have seen this year. Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw do not disappoint with their performances. I do have to admit, Sandra Bullock is definitely the main focal point of the movie, but I really enjoyed watching her portrayal of Leigh Ann Touhy. The movie has a very inspiring and meaningful message, and while the movie will leave you feeling good, it also addresses some of the controversy surrounding Michael Oher's story, which does add a little spark to the plot, and does not make the movie too predictable. I would absolutely recommend this movie to everyone that I know.

What a great, inspiring movie. The fact that it is a true story makes it even better. Sandra Bullock does a great job. I read an interview with the real Tuhys and they said their helping Michael wasn't the first kid they reached out to, just the only one who had a book written about him.

Sandra Bullock gives an absolutely remarkable performance as Leigh Ann Touhy.
I've loved this story ever since I first read Michael Lewis' article in the New York Times Magazine in 2006.
The crossing of lines of race and class in a Southern city still happens all too infrequently in this century. The genuineness of ths human story is captured brilliantly by the filmmakers.
