I thought that this was the best Will Ferrell movie since he played Ron Burgandy. The jokes were funny, little bathroom humor and Mark Wahlberg was a perfect partner. If you like Anchorman this is a must see for Ferrell fans

OK, thought I saw all the funny on the commercials but didn't. Yes, kind of stupid funny but it worked for me.Would have been funnier if they had us Mark's old music in the movie - would have been great. But it really was funny - I enjoyed it!! I am not a Will Ferrell fan, but he was funny and outrageous. "The Other Guys" is definitely better then "Cop Out" (which came out earlier this year). New York's finest has two very beloved Police Detectives Danson and Highsmith (Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson) that always get the bad guys. Then you have the other detectives which are viewed as second rate. Two of the second rate Detectives Gamble and Holtz (Ferrell and Wahlberg) are viewed as "The Other Guys", a joke to the force. They spend their days trying to convince everyone that they are first rate. When Detective Gamble uncovers what he believes is a HUGH money scan that is being committed by a famous Billionaire, his Captain (Keaton) won't take him seriously. The story unfolds from there... Very funny and hilarious, but extremely crude humor and crude sexual content. Will Ferrell will have you in stitches!!

This is a very funny movie, especially if you're a Will Ferrell fan. And as a fan, I can be honest and say that sometimes his comedic applications are not consistent, nevertheless the movie would still be considered funny. But The Other Guys was hilarious. Mark Wahlberg did a great job. Samuel jackson and "The Rock" blended into this comedy as well as the other supporting actors/actresses. I would recommend this to anybody who wants to laugh. Definitely going in my collection (and I dont mean a "bootleg")

Will Ferrell left his indelible stamp of lewdness on this otherwise family friendly film. I don't understand what crass lines have to do with comedy or the story line. Eva Mendez refers to her husband as honeydick and says she'll walk wrong for a week because of the rough sex... not really germain to the plot of the movie. The story is of how an accountant can become a serious asset in the NYPD because corporate fraud is much bigger than any diamond heist. The CEO stats and Ponzi scheme comparisons at the ending credits are better than Will Ferrell's acting.

I went to see this because I thought my kids would like it, and I ended up laughing through the whole movie. Will Farrell is always pretty funny, but I was surprised by how good Mark Wahlberg was - he more than held his own. A funny, funny script well-played by all the actors.

Story line was slightly predictable, but didn't really go for that. The comedy was superb in a fifth grade sort of way. Still, overall, a very good movie.

The movie was a bit silly but it was very funny. Will Ferrell is in top form.
