Typical Will Ferrell Comedy

Will Ferrell left his indelible stamp of lewdness on this otherwise family friendly film. I don't understand what crass lines have to do with comedy or the story line. Eva Mendez refers to her husband as honeydick and says she'll walk wrong for a week because of the rough sex... not really germain to the plot of the movie. The story is of how an accountant can become a serious asset in the NYPD because corporate fraud is much bigger than any diamond heist. The CEO stats and Ponzi scheme comparisons at the ending credits are better than Will Ferrell's acting.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
