still enjoyable

After seeing so many ads for this film I became a bit nervous as to what to expect. I was not disappointed as I always enjoy Liam Nelson films. A young man at front of the theater told me to wait for the end of the credits and that would answer some of my questions which it did.The film is a survival film and it made me glad that I was not stuck out there with them

I am always leery when I see a percentage of unfavorable votes even though on television it receives great reviews. I was pleased to watch a movie that is made for adults living through a real adult situation. I felt the acting was superb and the plot was much like life itself with different pacing and different turns. I think that adults especially will enjoy this fine film

I found upon watching the movie" Hugo" that I was watching a professional film and that is what Scorcese delivers here. The plot is a bit slow at times but I totally enjoyed the characters in this film I thought that Ben Kingsley was a perfect choice for the lead in the film and the security guard was great also. I was surprised that Jude Law had such a small part but an important one. This is a movie to see and enjoy

The change-up is all the things that you have read in other reviews and it still works. There is some raunchy scenes in this movie and it is a plot that has been seen before but it did work for me.The two men do learn a great deal about each other and not to be jealous of the lives of other people. This is 2 good summer movies for Jason Bateman as I liked in in Horrible Bosses also

a different type of westen

I thought the movie was a good example of trying to do something different. Most alien movies do not occur in the old west. I thought that Harrison Ford was the star of the film . He really seemed to put his heart and soul into it. Daniel Craig played a distant type of character who was hard to get to know. Olivia Wilde was very good also.I liked the idea of different groups of people joining together to fight the aliens too. Overall, it was a positive movie experience

emjoyed every moment

I normally do not write reviews but this movie is one you need to see. It was funny the whole way through and the bosses were outstanding with Jen Aniston playing a role totally out of character for her which made it even more entertaining. The time went by very fast and it one of my favorite comedies of the year. Go see it!

a re-make that works

This film really works. Bridges does a great job as Rooster. There are some subtle differences from the original that I watched on T.V. the night before. It was fun to compare the two films as to plot and the characters. The film works very well and I recommend it enthusiastically

This movie was as bad as the reviews that I had read. You learned nothing about the aliens and the characters in the film were stale to say the least. It is not even worth the cost of a red box movie dispensor

I thought that this was the best Will Ferrell movie since he played Ron Burgandy. The jokes were funny, little bathroom humor and Mark Wahlberg was a perfect partner. If you like Anchorman this is a must see for Ferrell fans

This film was very well done. It kept you on the edge of your seat and kept a very good pace. The special effects were outstanding and I give it 5 stars
