This movie is really funny! Unlike other movies who only show the funny parts in the previews, this movie made me laugh throughout it. Also, if you really pay attention, you can catch some subtle jokes especially by Eva Mendes. I would be thrilled if there was a sequal to this!

I laughed so hard! I'm a Will Ferrell fan, but was still surprised how funny it was. The end started to drag, not as funny, and the plot was trite and a little pointless, but I loved how the movie just started, no plot development at all. Just thrown right into their hysterical relationship.

Went in to the movie thinking it would be average, but was surprised when it turned out to be really pretty funny. It does tend to drag towards the end of the movie, but all in all, if you are a Will Ferrell fan, you will enjoy it. Just a heads up the rating is a little off. It does have some pretty strong adult sexual references. I recommend keeping the viewing for the adults.

This movie is torture if you are an adult. I have to say it is the worst movie that I have seen this summer. I took by 12 and 14 year boys to see it. The sexual language was so inappropriate and not even funny. The script was ridiculously stupid. Do not waste your money. Wait for the DVD if you must see it. If your kid says, but "I have to see it, Derek Jeter is in it", as my kid did, tell him that Jeter is in it for only two seconds and turn on the Yankee game for him instead.

If you are a Will Ferrell fan, and I mean SNL Will- with his quips, wit, self-deprecation and persistence, you will piss yourself.
Will was allowed free liberty to say whatever he wants wherever he wants in this ridiculously stupid, totally unbelievable, departure from reality grounded film-making.

This movie was pretty dang funny. I love when Mark Wahlberg plays an uptight "tough" character that comes off so funny. He does this very well. Will Ferrell was funny and not too over-the-top...just right. Michael Keaton was great as well. Great idea pairing Wahlberg and Ferrell together, good supporting cast too. my husband (36yrs) and I (41yrs), and our son (10yrs old) saw this movie last night and we all laughed out loud through most of the movie.

I took my boys, age 16 and 14... and I'm 50. I had read a positive review in Rolling Stone. IT looked like this would be good stupid fun for us all, maybe more so for them. What a lousy movie! The writing was bad, the acting was stiff... I KNOW it was a farce, I KNOW it's SUPPOSED to be silly... I get that. This movie definitely had it's strong moments of laugh out loud humor. But it also has that Saturday Night Live feel that Will Ferrell just can't seem to escape--funny, but sometimes stale; funny, but lacking certain levels of sophistication or genius that you know at times is there, but that you expect to be there more often, yet just isn't. An enjoyable pop corn, don't have to think too much type of flick. Plus, the idea that someone as beautiful as Eva Mendes would have no problems being my wife is a wonderful, wonderful fantasy indeed.

It was a great movie. I love Will Ferrell so much. He was hysterical!! Mark Wahlberg must have had to say "cut" a lot because he had to have been laughing at Will so much, when he was supposed to be so serious. I loved The Rock and Samuel Jackson too. I needed to laugh and I sure did.

This is a very funny movie and I really don't like Mark Wahlburg but even he couldn't ruin this movie. Having said that though, it was a little too stupid humor for my taste and felt like a really long movie because of it.
