Transformers 2 was almost a great movie The movie was loaded with content, the special effect were amazing and well placed. The only problem with this movie was that it struggled to transition smoothly between scenes. It bounced from action to comedy to a little bit of romance leaving the viewer slightly lost and confused at times. As lengthy as the movie was it kept you interested for the majority of the time, however, there were a few "slow" areas and unecessary scenes. Overall I thought it was a good movie and would see it again.

I found the special effects to be spectacular in this film. On its own it is an extremely entertaining movie. However, in comparison to the first Transformers it fell flat for me. It didn't have the rhythm of the first move flowing from comedy to action to love story. Those elements were there they just didn't do as good of a job. I recommend that everyone sees this movie but don't compare and you will be happier.

This followup Transformers flick has everything the first movie had, and more of it. That isn't always good. The movie is about 45 minutes too long, has a VERY lengthy battle sequence near the end that takes up way too much time and is confusing and tiresome. There was more adult content, more bad language, Sam's mother was more crazy, etc...but it didn't make for a more enjoyable film. I especially found the "shooting" to be hard to watch - cameras too close to the robots, and too much movement to see what they were doing half the time. It was just a blur of metal.
But, if you liked the first film a LOT, you will probably be satisfied.

This movie was action packed from beginning to end. I could have done without the dumb-downed twin characters, but they were not in the movie very much. It was so worth the IMAX movie experience, and my kids and I al enjoyed it equally. In the words of my oldest son, "That was the best movie I have ever seen in my whole life so far....." I would see it again and again - one of those movies that MUST be seen in the theater! GO! GO! GO!

Revenge of the Fallen is the best movie I've seen this year. The special effects were incredible. They did a great job of bringing the comic book stories and the old animated series together and giving it a new updated twist.

Very well done, Michael Bay does this right! I liked how the IMAX filled the whole screen with the 4-3 pulldown at very well precised scenes, it really allowed you to be immersed by the scenery that this movie brings. Very long, but I didn't notice, it keeps you involved throughout. IF you like action, comedy and the HOTT Megan Fox, then you NEED to see this movie. You can truly enjoy this movie in a big screen at the movies... don't wait for DVD... GO to Theatre!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" definitely delivered on the special effects but the plot fell short as the movie introduced too many new characters. Transformers would have better been served by focusing on the autobots we already know and love. One of the main problems I had with the action sequences was that there was too many moving parts moving left and right across the screen that it was hard to follow at times.

to be honest, i really only went to see this movie for the special effects. and in that aspect, it delivered. right out of the gate, the action is loud & in your face even if i often had a hard time keeping up with who was who and who they were doing what to. the Transformers themselves are amazing having said that, it was the rest of the movie that got in the way. my biggest problem with this movie was the whole contrived bit with the 'teen vamp' Decepticon (Battlestar anyone?). it came from out of nowhere and was too big of a leap of suspension of disbelief for even me to follow. ignoring the actual acting in this movie, the robot action definitely got my adrenaline pumping and was worth the price of the IMAX experience.

I loved the first Transformers movie. This one had a decent story line, but there was too much extra stuff and it took away from what could be a great summer movie. First, the effects are better than the first. Much more facial expression on the robots. There was too much s e x and the one drug reference. I had a lot of explaining to my 8 and 10 year olds at the end of the movie. Making the "twins" robot stereotyped as gangster rap artists was also a poor choice. Bickering brothers would have been just as funny. Overall, I enjoyed the movie and we had a good time. I will probably still buy it when it comes on video as well.

This is by far the best movie of the summer! I've seen it twice and I would go see it again! I grew up as a child of the 80's and I have to tell ya, awesome job! I thought they made a mistake trying to add a lot off "funny parts"(not that funny to me) to it and it didn't do much for me, and kinda boring. I saw it in the IMAX which looked really good but some of the action parts were shot in IMAX quality then it would switch to non IMAX which didn't look as good and bothered me. The Plot was kinda whack and a little sketchy.
Overall opinion: Great Action scenes with a little bit of unneeded junk, and a weak plot.

i thought it was a great movie non stop action from start to finish. Alot of good fight scenes and even alot of good laughs. even though this was the 1st movie i saw in imax i had alot of trouble with the theatre the screen felt way too close i was like 10 seats from the rear and it literaly burned my eyes to watch it.So i would suggest maybe watching it on the older screens unless you can sit way at the back of the theatre.

For those that love action this is the movie for you. The IMAX experience was overwhelming and the graphics in the movie are the best I've ever saw from a film before. Go see this movie!
