The movie had beautiful backgrounds and put me into the Christmas mood, but the stories and characters were not well developed. Disappointed.....

not what I expected

I thought this movie was too loud, with distorted audio, and the 3D effect unnecessary and distracting. Guess I'm too old to appreciate the concert experience....

I didn't think the movie dragged at all, but it was very true to the book. My daughter, (who hasn't read the books) thought that it did drag on, though.....

I was on the fence about going to see this movie, as I read so many user reviews that panned it, but I'm glad I went after all....I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

disppointing for book fans

I thought the movie overall was good, but was diappointed in a couple of scenes - one that veered away from the book, and another that wasn't in the book at all. Really irritated me.

lots of explosions

Not much of a plot....Hard to tell the good transformers from the bad at times. Lots of fighting, chases, and explosions. Imax makes it feel like you're watching the movie from the front row. Sound was awesome, though...
