I found the special effects to be spectacular in this film. On its own it is an extremely entertaining movie. However, in comparison to the first Transformers it fell flat for me.
It didn't have the rhythm of the first move flowing from comedy to action to love story.
Those elements were there they just didn't do as good of a job.
I recommend that everyone sees this movie but don't compare and you will be happier.
