This 3rd installment of Transformers was far better than the 2nd. If you liked the 1st, I think you should check it out. If you liked the 2nd you should definitely go see it!
Think of all the good things about "The Hangover", then try to take them to the next level respectively. That's pretty much what was attempted, and imho, attained with "The Hangover II." If you didn't like the first, you won't like this one. This one didn't break alot of new ground, but has the same type of comedy as the original taken to the next level.
Never have I seen a fifth installment of a series that was this strong. IMO its easily the strongest of the FF sequels, and some are likely to say its better than the original. If you liked any of the other FF movies, or are up for a fun action movie with fast cars and stuff being blown up, check it out.
Great sci-fi action movie. A must see for Tron fans and non-fan alike. The film does stand on its own, so there is no need to watch the original before seeing this one. Things have changed a lot over the last 28 years, so if you weren't that in to the original this has been spiced up enough that I'd still recommend it.
The movie had lots of nice visuals and action, but things left open from the last movie were tied up in a rush, and you're left with far more questions than answers. That said, if your in for some good action with some zombies tossed in, you may want to check it out.
I didn't go in with high expectations. The trailers really don't do it justice. Whoever came up with the trailer should be demoted or something. You get the basic premise, but the level of comedic presence in the movie is lost. If you like any of the actors (Carell, Rudd, Galifianakis), or if you thought the trailers had any merit at all see it.
Smart, exciting, well done, entertaining from beginning to end. Here was have a contender for several awards (e.g. director, lead actor, supporting actor, cinematography)
The movie had some strong elements, a few thowbacks to the original, some new information on the Predators' society. I was close to giving 4 stars, but it was a little too slow at parts.
Some liberties were taken with the storyline, but I think they were all appropriate to make a better fit for the big screen. The costumes and sets were well done. There are lots of nuggets scattered throughout the film for someone that has played the game, and it's still enjoyable for someone new to the franchise.
