Considering We only paid 5 dollars for the movie, it was well worth every penny. The beginning had a few sleepy time moments but the ending action made up for it. I was initially upset about Terence Howard being replace, however Don Cheadle certainly made the role a little more interesting. Overall it is a good movie, worth the 5 bucks. I cant complain!

"Iron Man 2" picks up where it left off from the 2008 installment, only this installment is so much better. There is tons of action, awesome special effects, the right amount of comic book violence. the cinematography is breath-taking and there is good continuation from the first installment. In this installment you find Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) having to deal with the US Government, because they want his Iron Man suit technology and he won't give it to them. Half way around the world is the son of a discredited scientist that used to work with Tony's Dad at Stark Industries. The son vows to get revenge on his Dad's legacy.

WOW!!!! We had such a great time with this movie. Laughing and gasping out loud, we even talked to the screen. (esp. when Mr. Stark did something extra sexy and when the girl beat up all the boys!)

I really enjoyed the special effects and the neat technical stuff of the Iron man suits and weapons.I love fantasy. I felt Robert Downey was great, as well as, Pepper ( Gwyneth Palthrow). I was particularly impressed by the performance of Mr. Rourke as the Russian scientist. Scarlett Johanson was hot and quite athletic.

Although not as good as the first movie. The sequel was enjoyable. The movie dragged out a little with useless scenes. The action sequences were on par with the first movie. I though Cheatel did a good job filling in, but I would have been nice to see the same charaters.

The first Ironman, is in my opinion, is the best superhero movie to date. I knew it would be tough to surpass it. I love CGI, but it can go over the top. Ironman 2 was pushing it! I think a third movie would be incredible! Plus, I can't wait for Thor!

WORTH SEEING!! and in theatres, unless you have a 6 foot TV screen... Much better than I expected from the lukewarm reviews I read. Not as good as the first movie but didn't expect it to be. Diappointed. I think I expected too much. The first Iron Man had a better story line to support all he action. This movie had action just to be action. The story line was very poor. I did not like the military robots "go rouge" thing. I didn't like the villan either. The first one was so much better. It was just a bunch of loud noise with some talking every now and then.

I never saw the first Iron Man so I wasn't sure what to expect. There were a few Yawning moments throughout the movie. Paltrow screamed and carried on a bit too much for me but, other than that the movie was great. Fantastic action!!! I loved Johansson role the best.

Downey is his usual self turning each character he plays into a caricature. He waltzes through this movie making a joke out of every line. He is such a jerk that it's hard to pull for him as a hero. Rourke on the other hand looks like a sleazeball but makes us buy into his revenge. For a while you pull for him until you find out his father wasn't the hero he remembers. Lot's of action and fight scenes but little else

I saw a matinee of this movie (only $7!) and really enjoyed it. It was long - over 2 hours - but the special effects were really cool and Scarlet Johansson's character rocked. The plot was predictable, but that's true of most action flicks - you watch them for the action, not the scintillating dialogue. I never saw the first Iron Man, so I don't have anything to compare this to, but I would say that it's on the level of the good Batman films. Robert Downey Jr.'s and Gwyneth Paltrow's characters were interesting, but Scarlet stole the movie. Definitely worth watching!

When I went to this movie, I could hardly wait for more awesome Iron Man action, but I left the movie wanting more, more, more! The storyline and the multiplots could have been left out and replaced with more action scenes. The dialogues and scenes between Pepper Potts and Tony Stark (read Tony's incessant babbling) serve to heighten the sexual tension the two have for each other, but have little other purpose (Why did he bring the strawberries?). The "disease" consuming Tony from the metal in his heart and the need for him to "discover a new element" to solve it was as unneeded as the confusing key to solving the riddle from his father's old movies. War Machine was severely downplayed only because it was after Iron Man for the majority of its screen time. It would have been nice for the two of them to have more than 60 seconds of working cooperatively to take out the bad guys. One other minor detail--the scene where Pepper tosses the Iron Man helmet out of the airplane and Tony jumps out after it is not in the movie. Otherwise, it was an Iron Man movie, all in all.

The story line was not very engaging and didn't have the heart of the first movie. I thought by having Marvel develop their own movies, the characters and plot would live up to the standards in their comic books but this was not the case. Robert Downey Jr. needs better dialogue to work with to fully exploit the dimensionality of Tony Stark and his acting ability. At times, his 'bad behavior' was predictable and cliche– the drunken, narcissist billionaire routine is getting old. Didn't feel the chemistry between Pepper and Tony. For Iron Man III, I hope they can find something other than robots for Tony to fight.

The premise is good but it falls way short of what it could have been. The action sequences were nothing special and RD Jr. played Tony Stark too over the top. After his opening sequence I thought "what a jerk". I'm suppose to cheer for this guy? Mickey Rourke was great though.

I was very much enjoying the movie BUT in the theatre it cut off the last five minutes... and since it happened throughout all of the movie theatres that were showing it I am guessing it was a final edit problem.. so I do not know the final ending...

The effects were great but the story line and the motive for the revenge that Rourke wanted was a little vague. I think Downey was not completely committed to the role this time. All in all an enjoyable film. I would recommend it.
